My 5 yr old DD and I are going to SSR from 16-22 Dec. We are not DVC, we booked a studio through the Disney website. I have a few questions:
Do the studios have plates, utensils, napkins, etc.?
Also, we are renting a car, is SSR the same as far as the other Disney properties that give out a free parking pass to park at the parks? (Did that sound redundant?)
Is the Disney gift card accepted at DVC resorts for purchases?
Oh, and will I need to bring my own coffee and filters?
Okay, I think that was all my questions :)

Thank you!

Studios have paper bowls & plates, paper towels, sugar & creamer packets, plastic silverware. The "kitchenette" includes a microwave, small refrigerator, toaster, coffee maker and manual can opener. If you need more paper plates or plasticware, call housekeeping.

Yes, just like any other Disney operated resort.
Is the Disney gift card accepted at DVC resorts for purchases?
Yes

Oh, and will I need to bring my own coffee and filters?

You will have a one day starter filter pack of coffee, for additional days you need to supply your own filters & coffee. The Maxwell House type filter packs are usually available at the resort stores. If you have a favorite blend, you'll need to buy it off site or bring from home.

And welcome to the DIS boards !!!

If you reserved the studio through Disney's CRO (did not rent points from a member), you will be treated the same as any hotel guest. This means you will receive daily mousekeeping, including coffee refills, more shampoo, fresh towels, etc. Be careful, you might like it so much you'll find yourselves on the DVC tour...and end up joining the club, as we did! :goodvibes

Thanks, ems mom, I missed that she booked through Disney and not rented points.

As a Disney cash guest, you won't need extra coffee, it will be provided daily with your housekeeping. :)

Awesome! I am soo excited. I think I probably will find myself on a DVC tour ;)
I can't wait until our Dec. trip :santa:
