I am really getting excited for our departure day..I am off the day before we leave and will clean the house, do laundry and pack.

Poor Todd has to work on our departure day and his job is about 45 minutes up the I-75 so that is going to shave some time off our 3 hour drive for sure! He is supposed to get off at 4pm but you know how well that has worked out for me in the past LOL! The deal is I get up at the butt crack of dawn, well not really because at 6am it is still pitch black out here and I will drive him to work, go home and finish packing the car, go to the bank, get gas and go back up to get him.

ME - Ok I will be in the parking lot at 2pm, I'll text you when I pull in

DH - Don’t start

ME - (With a very innocent face) What? I have no clue what you are talking about

DH - (Clearly he isnt buying it!) Its too early to start harrassing me about getting out earlier than 4pm

ME - I just want to get a jump on the traffic

DH - You don’t fool me, its Oct, there is no traffic right now

ME - Ok so shoot me…I just want to make sure I am there when you are done so we can hit the road Jack!

DH - Babe, it doesn’t matter what time we get there cuz all I want to do is check in, eat at ESPN and go back to the room to sleep

ME - Babe, it doesn’t matter what you want to do because it is always the same thing, eat and sleep

DH - If you be nice and let me sleep I will be up early for you and we can do what you want to do

ME - Ok, deal…but you have to promise not to be grumpy
