Hey Mom, Do I get to be the line leader again? A PTR…(My TR has started! - 6/1)

So, I am finally caught up with your PTR and I have to say that it's great! I love how you guys have found friends so close by that share the same love for the Mouse as you. I have enjoyed reading the back and forth banter between you guys! All of the pictures from your last trip look great! I wish I was only 10 weeks away from our trip but, alas we have 256 days to go! It seems like a lifetime! I can't wait to hear how this coming trip plays out! Have fun!

Thanks!! I'm happy to hear you have enjoyed my report thus far! Alisa and Randy have been around with us forever. To tell the truth, Randy actually taught Bryan in high school in his very first year of teaching. It has only been a couple of years that we have travelled to WDW together. If you ennjoy this, you should hear the actual conversations that take place when we are all sitting around together. I look forward to telling you all about our trip when we get back! Stick around!

I'm excited for you on the running! That's great that you were able to do the whole 25 minutes this time. :) I use my treadmill 3x a week. I was doing some running on it, but it started to bother my hips! :scared1: I backed it off to walking with 5 min. of running thrown in for good measure.

Do you guys take your grocery items with you or buy them when you get there? I'm going to research Garden Grocer's delivery. Do you know much about that? It sure would be a lot easier to get the groceries when we get there, but I don't want it to take up my Disney time! ;) But I don't know if grocery delivery is expensive. :confused3

:yay: for Cooper!

Thanks! I can't believe I was actually able to do it. I have never been a runner in my life, so I'm pretty excited.

We bring a limited amount of groceries with us. We bring a pack of water, a large pack of Diet Coke, some quick items for breakfast, juice boxes, and quick snacks for the ride. I did not do Garden Grocer, but I know Randy and Alisa did an order with them last February. Feel free to ask them here about it.

Congrats on getting your run in without pain Megan!

I've been doing a lot of clothes shopping for the girls. I can't wait to be a little thinner and do some shopping for myself. :goodvibes

How great that Cooper is able to enjoy his food and is feeling so much better! I'm sure that makes you feel a lot better about the decision. :cloud9:

Thanks Leanne! So, how's the running going with you? I know you said you restarted the program.

I need to do some clothes shopping. In these pictures from last year's trip, the shorts I have on are a size 16. They, along with all of my pants for work, are entirely too big. I need to go shopping, but I don't want to do it just yet. Using the size charts on Old Navy, I am estimating that I am down to a size 12 now. I'll let you know for certain though when I do the shopping for me in a few weeks.

I feel so good about our decision for Cooper. I am so happy to see him eating so much.

Megan- It's been way too long since I've posted, but wanted to say WOOOHOOO on your running! I tried the Couch 2 5 K last year and just could not do it. I need to start with a serious walking regimine, though. I think that I will when DH gets back from Vegas and can watch the boys. I gotta get ready for all of this walking! It'll be here before we know it!

It's fine. Thanks! I look forward to the fact that I know that all this walking will not make me tired or sore like it used to.

Good for you! 16 to 12 is a HUGE deal! I was stuck for a long time and for me pregnancy did the trick...lmao. I only gained 2lbs during the pregnancy with my son so I walked out of the hospital much much lighter than I had been before I was preggo! Sadly however, keeping the weight off has been a challenge. My friend just did the C25K and lost 40 lbs from it!!! I just had surgery 11 days ago but as soon as I am healed enough It will be time to get back to the gym! I want 30lbs gone before November!

You should be so proud. There is a big difference between a 12 and 16. Enjoy your new clothes.

Now there was NO REASON to let everyone know how old I really am  You could have just said.. "old school pals" or "buddies from way back".. did you have to go and tell them that I actually TAUGHT your hubby?????

I hate running.. I hate running.. I hate running.. but as of now.. I will attempt to run with you in May.. we shall see...

Garden Grocer= da bomb!!! If you have any questions fire away!

Happy Hump day everyone!!!

Hey Megan! I'm doing pretty good on the running. I met with a personal trainer last night and signed up for another session with her tonight. I figure some resistance training and some cardio along with the program ought to help things along. Congrats on being down 4 sizes! You go girl!! That's fantastic. My weight loss has slowed a little but my pants are a little looser in the waste so maybe I've lost a few inches. Once I get these darn cookies out of the house, I will be doing a THOUSAND percent better. :lmao:

Calling Todd today to schedule a tour during our visit. :woohoo:

Thanks for allowing me to hijack your PTR! :lmao:

Ok Randy, my main concern was if their prices & delivery fee were reasonable. We normally take quick breakfast items, water, & snacks with us in the car. This year we'll have the kitchen and while I don't think I'll be cooking much, if any, I did think we would be able to have milk, yogurt, etc. Those things we usually don't take because of the car trip & limited space in the small in room fridge. If we were going to shop for those things when we got here anyway, I figured we might as well not pack the others and just get them all at once. Then I thought, "why take up valuable Disney time with a trip to the store when I could just have them delivered?" But like I said before, didn't know how their prices were. I actually peeked at their website yesterday...didn't look too bad. I didn't see a delivery fee, though, is it crazy or worth it?

Randy's better half here---I LOVED Garden Grocer. We placed our order and they give u the total at that time. You even can add a tip at that time and pay for it all then.We scheduled a delivery time ( if its a busy time of year like a holiday season, some times book up so do it early)and they call u on your cell to see if u are in the room or not. If not, they will deliver to bell services at the hotel--they will put cold items in the fridge. I think the delivery fee is based on total price--the more u buy the cheaper the fee--but not sure. I think our fee was $10. I didn't find the prices too bad. We ordered breakfast stuff, fruits, drinks, snacks, etc. It was worth it to me. It didnt dig into my Disney time and I didn't have to go grocery shopping on vacation--i get enough of that at home. I'm planning on using them again in May when we stay at the Treehouse Villas:cool1:

So it was easy to do & worth it? :goodvibes That sounds great to me! Is there a suggested tip on the form? I am so bad with tipping! I never know how much to tip anyone except for the servers in a restaurant.

Thanks! I know that the change in sizes is a really big deal. That is so funny that pregnancy caused weight loss for you. I did not gain a whole lot for both of mine - 20 pounds or less both times.

Congrats to your friend on the weight loss and good luck to you on your weight loss goal. 30 pounds by November is completely doable.

I am very proud of myself, but I will hold off another month and a half to buy the new clothes. However, I think I might need to do a little bit of it if I feel like my pants will just fall down.;)

Happy Hump day everyone!!!

You are not that much older than Bryan. You taught him in high school dude. But if you really want me to, Bryan and Randy are "old school pals." They know each other from way back when...

The running will be fine. Keep going dude!

I'm glad to hear the running is going well. Great for you that you are also working with a PT. Hey, I think I know one of those! Over the Easter holidays, I plan to add some days of working out to Jillian Michaels DVDs on my off days from running. Thanks! I knew going into this that I would lose inches running before I lost weight. That has been the case. The inches are coming off a lot faster than the weight.

So, when is tour scheduled?
