Hey Mom, Do I get to be the line leader again? A PTR…(My TR has started! - 6/1)

Cooper is such a cutie! I love the look on his face here---What's he looking at ?

Cooper is just such a cutie! Yay for getting your run in! I power walked Costco today since it was really cold here-for us Az peep at least.

Thanks! I think he is such a cutie too. I was supposed to get my run in today. However, I was just so tired. I hate days like today at school. I prefer to be active (walking around, teaching, etc.). We had exams yesterday and today which means I am sitting around all day doing a whole lot of nothing. It makes me tired when I don't do anything at work. I could barely keep m yself awake this afternoon.

So, what's cold in AZ? Our weather is perfect right now. It's staying between the mid 60s and mid 70s, and the humidity has not come in yet.

Yay for Cooper loving the barnstormer!!! How cute that he got to say "All Aboard!".

I hope you're right about the pain Megan! Next week will be much easier to fit it in since we are setting the clocks ahead and the days are longer. :goodvibes

Yay for the barnstormer, but I'm preparing him for no Soarin and Test Track this year. I was really looking forward to not using the kid swap this year. He really enjoyed being the conductor.

Trust me. It goes away.:thumbsup2

It was high 40's low 50's tomorrow will be 75-almost perfect. Perfect for me is 78-82.

Poor Cooper.. he is getting "brainwashed" as Bryan might say.. poor thing.. he will probably grow up at Disney... such a shame!!!
Meanwhile.. Sammy had a great time with his pal Zach.. we rode Buzz and we even went check out Monsters' Inc as I recall.. we had a great time while Cooper was enjoying his morning with Mom and Dad!!
Hang on... Weekends almost here!

Whatever! He's not being brainwashed at all!

I know! I love weekends! Clocks change this weekend. It will officially start to feeli like the end of the year with the days being longer.

Hope you enjoy Alice!! We say it last weekend but not in 3D. Kind of glad we didn't with the little one. It will be great in 3D. Can't wait to hear what your family thinks about it.

How tall is Cooper these days? Josie is right below the 40" (39.25 right now) requirement but with her little flip flops we've got it this year.

I trust ya girl! It's been raining here the last three days so no running for me. I'm power walking everyday around the main aisles of the factory I work at. 4 laps is a mile. I've doing at least 6 every day. Saturday afternoon is supposed to be nice. If it is I'm getting back at running. :goodvibes Can't wait for the days to be longer-it will be much easier to get to the park after work. The track there is .5 miles. It's easier to keep up with how far I've gone.

Randy, I'm certain you can do the run. Bryan explained what you say the problem is. Once you that point where you think you can't go anymore, you run through that "wall." You plateau after that. The trick is not thinking about it at all. You let your mind go somewhere else. If you want to try it for a bit, download the podcasts. They are a free download on itunes.

Well, he is exactly 39" with his shoes on right now. The downside to having boys is that I can't really buy him some shoes to give that extra boost to get to the 40" mark. I'm hoping the removal of the tonsils and adenoids helps out in this matter. He is eating like crazy right now. We can tell that he is putting weight on. He just needs to grow up rather than out.

I hope the weather is good for you this weekend. I'm looking forward to the time change as well. Although, the evenings have been coll for me since it is close to sunset when I run. I don't know how far I run until after the run is finished. I figure out my mileage at www.mapmyrun.com.

Well, today was a milestone for a lot of us. We leave exactly 10 weeks from today. By this time 10 weeks from now, we should be getting to our hotel in Lake City, FL for the night.

I am also officially able to say the school year is almost over as of today. My school district follows the 4x4 system for the junior high and high schools. Our students have four 90 minute classes each semester. I teach half unit courses, so I get two groups of classes each semester. Well, I got my last group of the school year today. Also, we had the dreaded state testing training today. Everything feels like it's wrapping up. STate testing starts on the 23rd. Easter holidays are in 2 weeks. We finish up state testing 2 weeks after that. Sam's kindergarten closing is on May 7th. All we have left after that is graduation and exams.

Also, my official date of my Couch to 5K graduation is May 1st. I will run a 5K race on that day with Bryan. Even though he can run it now, he is going to stay with me throughout the race. Now, the fun part is that Randy is going to run it with us as well. We should have Alisa taking pictures of us at the end of the race. That way I can share it with all of you since yo have listened all this time about my running adventures.

Well I think that is my problem.. oh and one more thing I HATE TO RUN  That may have something to do with my difficulties ;)

OH yeah baby.. skool is winding down... After May 7th, (when my "seniors" are all gone) my life will get even BETTER. I will be down to about 30 kids TOTAL ALL DAY :yay: So the last two weeks will be all about DISNEY for me!!!
We'll see about the run.. I'm trying to prepare myself for it.. but I just don't know... running has always been a challenge for me.. I just wasn't made for it.. I really believe I was made for eating buffets...popcorn::

Have a great day everyone!

When I started this, I hated running too. I thought I was just a person who was not meant to run. If I am able to do this Randy, you crtainly are able to as well.

This is th only time of the year I wish I taught seniors. How lovely would it be to teach seiors all day and have no students to teach for the last week and a half of school.

Alisa, Stacey, and I need to determine which weekend in May we'll be heading to New Orleans. I need helping picking a new swimsuit. I'm not to the two-piece yet Randy.

Plus, I need to get these Disney themed nights in order.

Every teacher's dream words.....:cloud9: We have testing all next week, and then spring break, so I kind of feel like I've already started vacation.

Ours is different this year. We have on day of testing on the 23rd - constructed resonse only. After Easter holidays, we have another round of it the second week of April - multiple choice only. It definitely makes the day easier.
