That is a really good time.Micky completed his first Chicago Marathon in 3 hrs and 50 minutes!!! Amazing!!!
And the Oct. 31 party sold out. Gulp.
I knew it would. Here's hoping our plan works OK despite the crowd!
Hi...I'm here at Disney now with my 4 daughters (10, 8, 5 & 3). I've taken them to BBB several times. When my 5 year old was 3 she joined her older sisters and I have to say I have mixed feelings about this experience for her. My girls are Disney princess fanatics. We own EVERY Disney princess original dress including all the special edition ones. It definitely is a beautiful experience overall from the welcome to the goodbye if your daughter LOVES the princesses but...as everything Disney they are VERY strict with the hairstyles. There are several options to choose from and there are no exceptions. In order to get the perfect princess updo, their hair has to be pulled so tightly that it is quite uncomfortable. My oldest was fine during all of her visits....my 3 year old on the other hand, wanted to be happy but was uncomfortable with how tight her hair was pulled. So...my advice is you can still get lucky and find a reservation because there are always cancellations but if you aren't able to get one don't be heartbroken. I always make a reservation for dinner at the Castle and then have a glass slipper presented to them that I later get engraved. They get to wear one of their princess dresses and meet the princesses which completes their trip.Any advice for late booking bibbidi bobbidi boutique in MK, is that something that ever gets dropped or once it's booked up I'm probably out of luck? I wasn't sure if it would be worth it for a 3-year-old, but some friends recommended it even at that age, so now I'm sort of scrambling to get in (if possible, if not will be on our next trip)

Oh you'll be fine! The shoulder to shoulder will be on Main Street, other than that it will be great! Character meet lines are long no matter what.
We will be in Animal Kingdom on Halloween and then dinner at Via Napoli for 5 of us at 8:45!
Have an amazing trip!!!![]()
Goofy meats in his Great Goofini outfit during the day at MK.Thank you! You too!
I'm sure we will. We're not interested in the character meets, to be honest. (We might try to see Goofy in his regular garb before the party, as DS1 is going to be dressed as him, but that's all--although to be honest, I'm not even sure that's what he meets in. Will have to check.)
Priorities are, in order, the parade, the dance party, rides, fireworks, and ToT. My mom loves parades and once waited patiently for 2 1/2 hours (!!!) to secure us a good space for a Disney Easter parade. I'm hoping a bit more than an hour will be OK for us!
And DH is bound and determined that we need to go on the Haunted Mansion on Halloween. He's still deciding if it needs to be after dark.
One of my favorite activities!Today on "Weird things I've started doing because I'm excited!"
Checking the daily scheduled flights that correspond with mine to see if they've been delayed at all.

Cut through shops like emporium on main street to give you added AC time. Take breaks midday whether its a hotel break or sitdown meal, it really helps. When the heat starts to bother you duck into shops or a show. Make sure you pack light breathable clothes and maybe a hat to keep the sun off you.Hi Everyone, Happy October!
We are coming this week! Very excited.
Usually we come during winter months --but today's Real Feel in Orlando is 103˚!!!
I tend to get sick in the extreme heat--anyone have suggestions? I bought some cooling towels and misting fans but this hotness is not my thing so I welcome any tricks or suggestions (besides "don't come!")Thanks in advance!
We were there for the Fourth of July week and my husband had a hard time with the heat. We ended up taking long afternoon breaks in the room and spending time in the water at the pool. It also helped to have a sit down lunch reservation in an air conditioned restaurant.I tend to get sick in the extreme heat--anyone have suggestions?
