Is anyone else checking the weather obsessively, even though this week's weather doesn't mean anything about what your weather will be like???

I have friends at WDW and it rained ALL DAY yesterday, so they skipped the parks.

Yes, while my DH is laughing at me. I can't help it! I'm waiting until a couple of days before to get MNSSHP tickets for either the 17th or 19th, so I am obsessively focusing on those 2 days!

No matter what it is going to be great. We head out Sunday afternoon and land about 5:30ish. With hope in my heart we have FP in EPCOT for Sunday night.

Any advice for late booking bibbidi bobbidi boutique in MK, is that something that ever gets dropped or once it's booked up I'm probably out of luck? I wasn't sure if it would be worth it for a 3-year-old, but some friends recommended it even at that age, so now I'm sort of scrambling to get in (if possible, if not will be on our next trip)

I wasn't sure if it would be worth it for a 3-year-old, but some friends recommended it even at that age, so now I'm sort of scrambling to get in (if possible, if not will be on our next trip)

Our granddaughter was three years old when she had a BBB appointment. She loved it. But if her mom hadn't booked it she never would have known about it. Only a small percentage of girls have this done.

A little over a week out. I'm so nervous!

20 days until I leave. This is what I have accomplished the last few days.
1. Booked my hotel for my return drive home. Apparently almost all hotels on 75 are practically sold out or they are built on land of gold. Took forever to find one that fits my budget.
2. Redeemed points from one of my credit cards for 2- 25 buck Starbucks cards and 2-25 Cracker Barrel cards. Will handle meals on the drive to and from. Will take care of my Starbucks fix while at the parks.
3. Managed to clear out a space for my suitcase. Packing list has one thing on it—socks. LOL. This is not like me to wait so late to start this.
4. Decided to go as a baseball player sort of for my costume. I have a zillion Cubs jerseys and hats so I decided to just go with that.

I really am struggling with finalizing my planning. I was going to do some today but opted to go watch a movie. I am burnt out. Hopefully I will get back into the groove soon.

I got money out for all the cash tipping needed.
My package of weird odds and ends arrived yesterday. Ponchos, a book for dd on the plane, new travel pillow, glasses straps for FOP (no idea if they'll even help but I figure it can't hurt)and peppermint foot rub.
Tomorrow I'll start the pre-trip house cleaning. If the house floods or burns down while we're away it should be spotless, right?
I still have to pull the rest of the luggage out of storage and find a place to get it organized.

And yes, if anything should happen to your house while you are gone it needs to be clean. One less thing you will have to worry about.

Tomorrow is our last Disney day, and we move on to Universal. It has been an incredible, magical time. I do intend to do a trip report when we get back to NZ. Oh you lucky people yet to arrive!

one week from right now I'll be on property, probably going to bed at Pop before waking up early and switching over to the Poly!

Super excited about MNSSHP on 10/17, but otherwise super stressed out about all of the "real world" things I have going on this week. It's a non-stop week of activities and I'm kind of freaking out

I sure hope I have everything I need!!

We leave for the airport in a few short hours! Found out one of my friends from back home (CA), it at WDW till tomorrow, so we are meeting at MK in the morning. Can’t wait to see her!

As our countdown is at 0 days (huzzah!), I plugged in the dates we have proposed for Japan and it is a mere 1157 days.

Disney Springs was great last night, and a couple of family members surprised us and will be joining us for part of our trip!
