I'm here now and it's a great time!
our MB are working great. my daughter had a problem with getting into the room at first, but after some help, it was smooth sailing!
never had a wait longer than 2 minutes to get into the park (bag check and ticketing)! just tap and go!
using the FP was almost pointless, as the waits weren't very long. the longest standby line we stayed in the middle of the day was stated at 25 minutes, but in reality it was about 15 minutes. when we park hop in the afternoon, it's smooth breezing! we didn't need to do the rolling FP, as most everything is walk-on wait! we can't get up early to do RD, but I find that being at the parks near closing time (90 prior ) works just as well! no waits for the "mountains", HM, POTC.. we were walk-ons!
we have autographs and pictures with both talking and non- talking characters! great, great fun.
MM is working fantastic! we take pictures at every opportunity and they show up at MDE a day later! they are separates by day and park.
I am not finding this vacation too planned. I love the dinner reservations we made, and we planned our park days around that. we don't feel stressed at all.
we have the DDP. love it or hate it, I'm eating things and at places I probably would not eat if I didn't have it. I don't feel limited or cheated.
bus transportation is working fine. never longer than a 10 minute wait to get anywhere! I have my car but I only used it to get to the GF our first night for dinner. today I'm using it because it's a non-park day for us and we are resort hopping.
I have primarily travelled in December, so this weather is a bit warm for me. keep hydrated and rest during the day, even if it's just cool shade and a cool drink. by 5pm it has cooled down.
I know my experience is not everyone else's, but it's a great time!
