HELP! What could we do?? (planning a stay in Jan 08)

Hello everyone!

We are planning a last minute stay in January.
We would take that offer valid in January/Feb. The only bug is that we can't seem to be able to stay for more than 4 nights!!
We'd like to book our stay with the offer for 4 nights, but add a night or two full price....can't seem to be able to! This really sucks.

Any thoughts?
We were thinking of going from Jan 13 to Jan 17.
And for some ODD reason, the weekend of the 18-19-20 is sold out in Disney - GO FIGURE!

The 21st is Martin Luther King's B-day, and a federal holiday. This makes the weekend you want to go a 3 day for many people.

I would encourage you to keep calling! Many times rooms open up. I've had particular success phoning Monday monrings at 8:00 EST, that is whe Magical Gatherings and other group cancellations are processed through.

That's funny because I've got the opposite problem. I've got a 6 night stay booked from the 20th through the 26th, but really want only 4 nights preferably from 18th through the 22nd. But I can't rebook because there aren't any rooms available. Occasionally, a $350+ night a room opens up, but that would cost me more than the full 6 nights I've got booked already.

I'm able to extend our stay to Jan 18...but that's it!
Unless we go to a moderate resort...but we honestly don't feel like it.
Looks like we're going in January... a month and some days to go!

Keep calling if you still want to add a couple days! The 45 day mark is coming up this week for MLK weekend trippers, so there may be cancellations by those who booked but cannot make the trip for whatever reason. This coming weekend would be the deadline for them to cancel to avoid penalty, and over the next couple weeks, packages that aren't paid in full could also be cancelled by Disney.

Because I cancelled a reservation 4 days before going this past Sept (forget we have booked something from March!). I lost my deposit of course.

Packages have to be paid in full 45 days before arrival, but Disney generally gives a couple weeks' leeway before actually cancelling packages for non-payment. Room only reservations can be paid off at the time of arrival.
