My use year is October - are the points that I will get in October considered 2004 or 2005 Use year?

I know it is confusing for those of you who have use years near the end of the year. It means you are using 2004 points for ressies in 2005.

Also means we will be one of the last to have our DVC "ownership" expire .

The "date" is just a name for a batch of points. In practice, you get to use those points for 12 months after they're pumped into your account (not counting banking and borrowing).

Not really. All contracts end on either January 31, 2042 or January 31, 2054 (SSR only) regardless of Use Year.
