DVC Announces Exclusive Member Viewings for Disneyland 70th Parades and Nighttime Spectaculars
Disneyland’s 70th Anniversary is here, and Disney Vacation Club Members have exclusive viewing opportunities for the celebration!

📍 Reserve your spot for the Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration! parade, World of Color Happiness!, Paint the Night, and Wondrous Journeys—all from special DVC viewing areas.

We’re heading out in June and can’t wait to (hopefully) enjoy the Pixar Pals Parade from this incredible location. Will you be checking it out?

I got the email too. Will definitely be trying the Better Together location. Other things are on weekdays and most of our visits are on Saturdays. We are locals and do many day trips. But definitely considering the firework viewing from the lounge on 7/17. We will be there that day and will not want to mess with crowds for the fireworks that day.

Have you ever seen the fireworks from the lounge? We were seated outside the other day and it didn’t look like it would be a great angle on the fireworks (and I’m assuming you can’t see projections at all).

I am going to attempt the Better Together parade viewing on Saturday. I made some random reservations in June for the other opportunities.

I noticed it said one event date per member per type of event for the parade, fireworks and World of Color, which I appreciate - spreads the opportunities out for everyone.

Wait…I thought the email said registration/reservations not required?

It does for the first section the Pixar Parade on Saturdays.

Wristbands are required for Paint the night and World of Color. You have to get them prior to the event between 1-5.

The other events are no registration.

I'll be honest I only read the first part and saw it was on Saturdays which doesn't apply to our trip and didn't scroll down.

Luckily I read @pkrieger2287 article.

I might end up dropping my WoC dining package with this available now.

I have not, and I am sure the view is not great. But we skip fireworks about 99% of the time. Neither my mom nor I can be in the thick and heavy crowds on Main Street due to anxiety. This seems like a way to see fireworks without having to be in the heavy crowds that would be especially bad on 7/17.

So this the viewing areas are set up for only select nights? Our goal is PTN, I wonder how good of a viewing this is, especially compared to the Plaza Inn PTN dining package.

How big do you think the area will be?

It looks like it's where I had reserved viewing from a dining package before. It's a large area and it sounds like they are going to limit the number of people. You can stay in the general area after if you want to watch projections on it's a small world and fireworks. There are chairs in front of the area for VIP viewing, but when you stand, you'll be able to see.

I think it depends how many people they let in the area. I worry with only a few dates that the area will either be packed or they will be running out of wristbands quickly.

Ohhh, so VIP chairs are in front? Good to know, we'd want a front row as we have a little kid in a wheelchair, and it's not a tall unit so she'd be pretty low.

Thanks fo the info, I'll probably keep our Plaza Inn PTN dining package and get there early for front row.
