Back when payphones existed did you regularly use them?

Yes. I can't remember the last time I used a pay phone. This is a pay phone near my former house in Toledo. I took these a few years ago.

Just reading about Ocala, Florida where pay phones are common because cellular coverage is awful to non existent. And I find that hard to believe.

I was just in Porto Portugal and there were a lot of pay phones around - some were actually functioning I think and some were just for photo opps. Was very odd to see.
