At GF, has anyone been transported to their room building or main building by the golf carts I see running around there? Do you just ask bell services? Do you tip them? Thanks!

At check in or check out they will transport you. At other times, probably not, depending on how busy they are, as the carts are not a guest shuttle to rooms, disability or not. They are for bell services and they make their money on tips. They may be reluctant to take a person to a room and miss out on a luggage run where they will most likely get a tip. Even if you say you will tip, it will probably be less than what they would make on a luggage delivery. If you cannot walk between the main building and your room, it's best to rent a wheelchair or ECV. The housekeepers and landscape carts you see are not supposed to transport guests.

I am not sure with Grand Floridian; however, I do know at Saratoga Springs and Old Key West, they will transport guests using the bell services golf carts upon request, but depending on how busy it is, there may be a slight wait. They even tell you when checking in that you can utilize them, but the wait times may be longer than for the internal shuttle at those resorts.
