Hi all, I am one of those addicted people that we find on the boards. Am a pro at booking regular Disney vacations but have never booked a cruise. I think I have talked my hubby into it and Im looking to cruise in the spring. I am a DC member and appear to be eligable for discounts. Thinking about a land and sea. Where do I start. I know to read the boards but cant seem to find any price quotes without speaking to disney directly. I need some help. What is cheapest way to transfer from airport to resort to ship and back? I know that there is someone out there to give me and hand! TIA. Your fellow Disney addict!

Well, you made "Veteran" status by posting this message. Congratulations!

Since you're a pro at booking Disney vacations, go ahead and book the Land portion seperately. You will get exactly what you want and probably get a better price. That also makes it easier to get price quotes for just the cruise portion.

Rent a car from Avis, Budget, Hertz, or National and return it near the port. Then pick up another car after your cruise. Here's my summary of the car rental options:

Hi, to a fellow Hudson Valley Resident - I'm glad there is someone else out there that is a little confused. We use our timeshares every year in Orlando, and have the air & land portion - etc down pat, especially with Southwest now flying direct from Albany to Orlando.

Just returned from 2 weeks at Disney during the cold weather of 12/29 to 1/14/02 but enjoyed it anyway. We are looking at booking a 7 day cruise April 13th '02, and just started the learning curve. I definately feel "out of the water" on this - but have learned a lot already. (I'll keep reading & looking at websites like dcltribute.com)

I'm sorry I don't have any info for you - but I hope you don't mind me looking over your shoulder on any incoming information. Thanks to Dave from Marietta - I think I'll keep watching and learning.
