Hawthorn Suites...

Can anyone give me any advice and reviews about Hawthorn Suites near Downtown Disney? I don't see much mention of it here on the boards.

Hi! I stayed at the Hawthorn Suites I think you are referring to - Hawthorn Suites Lake Buena Vista, on Palm Parkway. I stayed for four nights in 2002, and I really liked this hotel. It's fairly new, I think about three years old. The suites were roomy and clean, and has a good breakfast in the mornings. Palm Parkway is a nice location as it's easy to get into Downtown Disney from there. Also restaurants are nearby and some stores. I even stayed solo here, and felt very safe. The pool was on the small size, but certainly nice enough. I would definately recommend it, especially if you can get a good rate.
