Chasing the Dragon is really good. Great voice!!

I haven't listened to Heavy Metal in years, I do listen to classical, the pianist in me still enjoys a great run. Broadway of course, we buy the soundtracks to most every play we go see and living in NYC we see about 90% of them. My DH loves old R&R, so do I but I have to be in the mood.'

My kids listen to crap, but some of the crap I like!! DS occasionally plays guitar hero and admits that music is pretty good!!

Epica is a fairly new group from the Netherlands. For some reason their music grabs me... I have only been listening for the past week or so but it grabs me and its different KWIM?

If you want a good work out song... something that has beat and won't put you to sleep try Evanescence's "Bring me to life" song

When I am on my treadmill that song always gets me going

Well if you like her ..you will love Epica
its a bit harder than her but the vocals are out of this world and when they do yell into the mic. it actually MEANS something... there is a point to it KWIM?
Like in Chasing the dragon the screaming is the dragon (metaphor for all those evil thoughts that go through our mind...)

Brook~Blondie and Pat Benatar were here in our town for an annual ribfest in the summer....Pat was the best, outstanding and brought me back to my high school years. Then Blondie came along and she should just retire and let us remember her old songs Yuck she sounded terrible and looked awful... I loved Blondie in HS also Journey, Van Halen, Styx, etc.... God I feel old

Yeah she should just age gracefully like the rest of us

Its funny because I SOOOOO can NOT sing and if Pat's Heartbreaker comes on when playing Itune my kids all start screaming and grabbing pillows and burying their heads in the pillow
sometimes I play it just to drive them nuts if they are driving ME nuts and I sing it on the top of my lungs

Anyone like Julie ROberts? I love her song wake up older...
I like her 1st album but not any of her other ones.

give the song a little time as it starts out really slow.... i like the vocals but midway through the song it speeds up?

I should add that Chasing the dragon is their token ballad hahaha
if you want something with more beat to it Never Enough is good.


I am also a huge Broadway fan... me and DS13. He wanted to name our pup Mr. Mistoffelees (pup is black) but I wouldn't let him because I thought it would give him a complex

I hate my new haircut it looks so bad! I just went into my bathroom and uses my big mirror to look at the back and it is horrible...... I am about to cry.....

I am so sorry.... I agree to give it a day or 2, but then go back to the salon if you are still unhappy and see if they can "fix" it... I have the BEST relationship with my stylist that all started with a butcher job and a different salon

We are going to start calling Wishes the cabana queen

So I didn't panick and just got up extra early so I would have plenty if time to see how it was drying and it turned out to be the cuteset cut I have had! You were all right! Thanks for listening to my whining, I think it as the fact that she comb my hair out and didn't use much product so my hair was huge and frizzy.
