Sorry I am new here! Let me introduce myself .. I am Karen and I have 2 kids. We are staying at GF in November for the first time and VERY VERY excited!!!

Hey MandyMommy & PoohGirl --- add us to the list of homeschoolers that love the Grand!I wish we lived closer so we could visit more frequently. I'm really wanting to plan another December trip --- but trying to resist the temptation.

We always take off December so we do all of the fun holiday things in town. My kids are dancers so December means they are super busy until the Nutcracker is over and then they are ready for a break.

We school in the summer too --- mine are always ready to hit the books early and hard when they know the pool is the afternoon reward.

Happy Friday! I'm ready for the weekend and Narnia!

It hurts it hurts.....

DH opened our pool last weekend...the pump has been running constantly all week and the water is CLEAR and gorgeous....but this weather is crap. It's sunny and cool...(at least it's finally sunny)..perfect for an afternoon at WDW.

Hi Channing

I did get a new puppy. She is a chocolate lab and we named her Katie. I also have a lil yorkie named Callie.

This puppy is a pain...I love her already but she is ALOT of work. She is in the garage crying right now because she wants me to come out and play. UGH! I am ready for the kids to get out of school. They will make her tired playing with her thank goodness.

Party is tomorrow night for dd. We are heading to Justice with 11 little girls and they are all spending the night.

I know I am CRAZY!!!

OMG...my neighbor has two black lab brothers...Tyrone and REggie. haha...they are a handful for her My dog is so calm and quiet and just so peaceful. My neighbor is jealous of me. I got lucky in choosing a Newfie. That's how they are.

Enjoy the party!!! They will take it out of your hands at Justice at least.

Just found this thread!! We will be staying at the GF 10/18-10/25, MNSSHP 10/21 and I CAN'T WAIT!!!!! I haven't been to WDW in 10 years. In a way I wish we were going tomorrow but I am glad I still have 5 months to save, save, save!!!!

Hey gals...

Glad its friday night...I was not a good day at school. A parent was really mean and hateful to me. Parents feel like they can say and do anything they want and we have to sit back and basically take it...so not fair.

Anyways, glad its the weekend and we only have about 2 weeks left of school

Vanessa, whew you really do have your hands full! I hear you about the airfare. I have tried Ohare and Midway and even looked at Milwaukee and Rockford. EXPENSIVE!!! have fun with your daughters party! That will keep your hands full more than that dog

Channing, I have always wanted my own pool..I have just had to settle for our local waterpark! I shouldn't complain we do have a hot tub and it is great for relaxing year round.

Ha Ha, NO! We only go to the parks!

I will tell ya, when I was in college I stayed at Fort Wilderness in a tent and the pool there sucked! We hopped over to Wilderness lodge to use their pool and got busted! We acted like we thought we could us any pool! At the time I was horrified by being kicked out of the lodge pool! It's funny now, but I learned my lesson, so no pool hopping for me!

A have a quick question for anyone that can answer it. Last time we were at the GF I brought home the Disney Resort Collection booklet so I could order the pillows that they have there. I finally got around to it today but which ones are they? There's 3 to choose from. Ultra-rest, Magic gel, or Luxury. I don't think it's luxury because it says that has silver cording around it and I don't remember them having that. But don't know between the other 2. Can anyone help me? TIA!!

--- my kids would be grades ahead if I had that as a weekly reward! They would be ripping through those books.

Indiana weather is not so motivating in the winter -- not enough snow to be fun and too crummy to be outside!

Hi Kelly!

I made it through the slumber party! WOW....girls are DRAMA!!

All in all they had a blast. Now for breakfast and out the door they go.
