Channing~I used to watch Speed Racer too when i was little...how about how their mouths moved but not really to what they were saying
Underdog anyone? Casper the friendly Ghost?? Sat morn were great only time cartoons were on...we ate cereal and watched while our parents slept the morning away!

Kelly~my guys are watching the celtics too! inbetween the Sox and Cubs games

Jeez it was cold out at the game today...I only made it through 3 innings and left.

LOL on the Speed Racer! Well, Jojo and DH and I went and we all thought it was from good (me) to AWESOME (Jo and DH ) I expected it to suck quite frankly from the reviews I've seen. I was a mega fan of that show!!!! I had a crush on Speed and wanted hair like Trixie's!! Oh and of course I wanted a pet monkey. DH was a Speed fan, too, so we did enjoy the movie but if you weren't a mega fan, it is probably a pass. Jojo is totally HOOKED on it now. She watched our DVDs (we have one volume only) that has 13 episodes on it - she watched them all twice so far. She LOVES it. She loves Trixie's hair, too - and Jo HAS Trixie's hair. I watched some w/her last night and laughed because YES, their mouths hardly move and THEY hardly move!! But MAN what a show!!! Kids do not get it - we had like 3 tv channels or so and not constant kid shows. I was thrilled to have channel 11 shows even! Sesame Street and Electric Company and then Bozo's Circus at lunch time!!!

Yeah after the celtics game i will be around if anyone wants to chat

I just have to tell you this. We were out to dinner for my husband's 40th b-day and my dad kept disappearing. Not too weird since it was a chinese buffet, but he left a lot more than normal and offered to go get me coffee, ice cream for the baby and tons of other little things...I just thought he was being helpful.

On the way out the door he stops and leans over the cashier counter. The game was on a mini tv. He kept going to the buffet so he could stop and check the score!!!!

We got home just as it was ending, he left before us and got to my house 10 minutes later than us...he took the long way home so he could listen to the end. I love my dad!!!

Good morning, all!
Well we didn't have Chinese last night. It was a beautiful day in MN and although I spent the afternoon at the indoor pool for my son's swim meet, we had a wonderful cookout last night. Grilled burgers and sweet corn. Almost felt like summer!

All the RPC plans are making me jealous! I will be staying GV in October after our cruise but I'll take a stay at the GF over my laundry room with a week's worth of cruise clothes any day.

Hope everyone has a great Monday. I'm going real estate shopping with my mom who we are trying to relocate to our area. It's been a long time since I've had to do that. We've been in our house 18 years!

LOL...that Chinese food thing is weird!!!. It's probably the first time since Xmas Eve that we went out for Chinese food. There must have been something in the air.

Tammy, have a wonderful birthday at WDW!! About the birds ....dh stuck one of DD's 18 inch Minnie MOuses in the upstairs window...she is just kneeling there, looking out. Looks kinda cute down the hallway. That has kept the bird away from THAT window. That same bird still likes our den window which is right below, but I might stick another Minnie there. She is our scarecrow.

OMG! Well it's nice to be thought of. That darn bird is still thudding into the window right behind me as I type!!!! WTH?? I swear I don't know how he does it w/out killing himself. I am getting a stuffed animal right now to see if it will keep that idiot bird away from this window, too.
