But, but, but...... I've been on the DIS a long time...surely I am grandfathered in, right? Does that count?Probably should verify blue card status too

Closing tomorrow for our first 50 points, which are resale. I have no room to talk lol. But, but, but......

how about 2 cabins?They’re older, 10, 15,18 and 21.
Yes, my point was, I was on the DVC site a ton and never saw the “we can’t wait to welcome you home” until 6 days prior.I’m confused? I thought you said you noticed on your dashboard the new room was confirmed but didn’t get an email.
Stalking iwill only show what is available and wouldn’t be related to your waitlist.

But, we had a great time! So there is that![]()
I just stayed in a cabin with my husband and parents. One bathroom for 4 people was bad, can't imagine with 6. I agree with others who have commented, if you really want to try it, split stay a few days or get 2 cabins. We’re currently booked in a 2br at BWV for January 2027 for our group of 6. My kids are begging me to stay in a cabin in FW instead. We’ve never stayed there but we’ve visited several times and they love it. It would be a lot less points, but we’d be more squished then in the 2 br. I would prefer BWV, but my kids don’t usually make any special requests on our trips so I’d feel bad not giving in and making them happy. My DH doesn’t care either way lol. Of course this is assuming I’ll be able to get two weeks in a cabin at 7 months. Maybe I won’t and the whole thing will be moot. Or maybe I’ll just tell them I can’t? Lol.
I agree about the bathroom situation! I took my parents, daughter and brother (and dog!) to the cabins in December and the worst part was one bathroom. Everything else was wonderful, especially the full kitchen.I just stayed in a cabin with my husband and parents. One bathroom for 4 people was bad, can't imagine with 6. I do not. I want to though.Anyone play (what I call) the DVC for Less Game? https://www.dvcforless.com/
I give myself a budget like $10K, $15K, etc and challenge myself to find the best contract for my interests.
My personal rules are that it has to make sense with my use year and that sellers will only go down in price 10% max. But sometimes I play the game and pretend I have a different use year or would be a new DVC member.
We can't discuss available contracts, but if you also play the DVC for Less Game, let me know what your rules are!
Loved both!! Rhinos are definitely hard to get!I have 1 spot booked so far hoping 2 more open up. We watched the behind the scenes shows about Animal Kingdom so my son is so looking forward to it too.
Definitely, do Cabins First!!!Also I would suggest cabins first. Then you can do that laundry at BWV when you get there and the 2 bed will feel like a mansion when you walk-in. Im excited for you! The cabins are so cool and BWV is also my fave place. Sounds like a great trip.
OMG, I couldn’t imagine sharing that with 5 others, even if they are all family. lolThey’re older, 10, 15,18 and 21.
2 cabins would definitely make things better, but they may not be next to each other.I just stayed in a cabin with my husband and parents. One bathroom for 4 people was bad, can't imagine with 6. Are you using any apps to notify you if something opens up?
