Have you ever gotten a dozen roses for Valentine's?

I have, twice. Once by my very 1st bf in college and the other time when DH and I were first dating.

Several times. Once, DH was very angry at me during my birthday. Huge fight. But then, he sends me roses at work. So, of course, you'd assume that this was a make-up attempt, right. Wrong! He was still angry with me. I guess he just assumed it'd be over eventually, and he didn't want to suffer the consequences of not remembering my birthday.

A few times delived to me at my job and a few at home....I prefer not to get them for valentines day though, I think they are WAY overpriced and a waste of money when you can get htem any other time of year for 1/4 the price!

Yes many times from DH. As a matter of fact he brought me home a dozen long stemed red Roses last Friday for Valentine's day. I also got a Disney candy dish with peanut butter hearts in it and he also adopted two manatees (Rosie and Whiskers) for me too. DH deserves a We always celebrate on the weekend before.

Yes, several times. I always yell at my dh for buying them on Valentines' Day they are so over priced. My dh sent me 3 dozen tulips yesturday for Valentines' and I love tulips so as far as I'm concerned they are better than roses.

DH though has NEVER sent roses(brought them home a few times), He like those bouquets that are real pretty, and he only did it once on a birthday because he was out of town for work.

He is buying the our girl who is 3 roses today Cause she is his little forever Valentine!

Actually my wife agrees with you. We don't even go out to eat on VD. We go a wek or so after. And then I get her the roses or a couple "Birds of Paradise", which are her favorites..... but those suckers are PRICEY!

Oh yes. DH loves to send me roses. Last year he sent 2 separate arrangements on Valentine's Day. His reasoning was because he saw 2 vases he wanted me to have, so he had the florist make 2 different arrangements to go in them

I'm very spoiled, I get a dozen roses for every Valentine's Day, my birthday and our anniversary--actually for our anniversary I get a white rose for every year we've been married (5) and the rest are red. I have a VERY good husband!!

Yes, but DH usually buys a boquet at the grocery store. Their flowers are nice most of the time, and reasonably priced. I like them just as much.

DH has sent me a dozen long stemmed roses for many occasions EXCEPT Valentines - LOL He says he rather send them when they are unexpected or on an occasion when not everyone else is getting them. So for Valentines we usually just get each other a card - maybe some candy and make a nice dinner with the kids. We'll wait to go out to eat as a couple until next week when the restaurants aren't so packed with Valentines couples - LOL

He does do the same as the other poster on our anniversary with the roses - I get a red one for every year we've been married ( this past one it was 15 )

When we were dating, my DH always sent me a beautiful arrangement of deep red roses. After we got married, I put an end to that. I guess it was okay when he was spending "his" money, but then when he was spending "our" money, those roses didn't appeal to me much anymore!

Now we just do little gifts. I got him a DVD & I have no idea what he got me yet but probably a CD that I've wanted. The kids get candy (their favorite!) We do our exchange over dessert after dinner. I'll make something with cherries for tonight.

I got them my freshman year for Valentine's Day from my now ex boyfriend.

I know that I am not getting flowers from my current boyfriend, he has already told me this.
