WE had lunch there a week ago today and enjoyed it a lot. Had a great view of the lake. Very friendly staff. Food was good, but my dish was specially made because of my heart condition. My wife enjoyed her "normal" dish, which was one of the "street foods".
They are planning to do a big reworking of the menu some time in the Fall - to make it a bit more "elegant". (Sounds like that probably means "expensive".)
The bad news for those who like this place is that they are also trying to get onto the dining plan for next year. That's sad - we know what happens to restaurant menus once they're on the DDP.
As for the location - it's smack in the middle of that used to be Pleasure Island, just a little west of Raglan Road.
We ate there this July and I posted our food photos on the Food Porn thread #3. My group had mixed feelings over the whole experience. The service was nothing to write home about, we had to flag her down and ask for more drinks every time anyone in our party of 7 needed one. The food was tasty, but some of the portions were small, particularly my Mother's Chicken Caesar Salad. The food was not only South American, but represented all of the Americas, North and Central too.
I just came back from disney today and i ate here on thursday night DO NOT GO HERE we had to wait 1 hour for our food!!!!We did get our food for free though.dis sjw
