Halloweentime is over, hope you all had fun! Until next year....TTFN!

Honestly, I don't know. I've never been but truth be told, from what I've read, I'm worried about my 13 year old son being bored as well. He could care less about dressing up and trick or treating and doing crafty things, or taking pics with the characters. So I don't know. :confused3

I am still going though because I also have 3 girls who I know will love it. So in our case, he's going to have to suck it up for one night. :rotfl:

But if you've got two boys of that age......well, I'm not sure. Maybe someone who's been can offer an opinion.

I took my then-12-year-old daughter last year and she liked it - but she is not a kid who tries to be older than her years. However, even if your kids don't want to do the trick-or-treating, the rides are open with short or no lines - I would think any kids would like that!

we probley arent getting the tickets till the day of. In less we can early but we are sure now we will be there the 10th if you want to add us. theres no more maybe hehe im confermed at going

Is anyone dressing up for sure? We've never been for Halloween, and I don't want to look like a total weenie for wearing a costume when it's not the day of! I don't mind if the kids look like weenies, but come on..... :rotfl2: BTW - I am MORE into dressing up than the boys are, so who am I kidding??

I'm dressing up for sure!! I can't wait to wear a costume again. I don't know what it will be just yet, but I'm wearing one. :thumbsup2

Mr. Incredible, Maleficent, Mickey and Squirt will be spending Halloween Night with Mickey! We can't wait - if only we could get the grandparents to dress up too!

We'll be there Oct. 3-10 but can't go. I really wanted to do this but the only dates it's being held during our trip is the 3rd (we won't be arriving until about 10:30 p.m.) & the 10th (leaving in the a.m.). :sad2: :sad1:

I thought they had 1 every few days. I didnt even realize they were that far apart early in the month. I am so sorry. You guys arent able to adjust your dates a little bit? Thats what we had to do last year, we just added 1 more day to our trip.

We are going to sqeeze a trip down to do the party for the 1st time, Oct 3. I don't know who is more excited DH or my 8 yr old son! Now we need to work on costumes. But then we will be down there next week & can see what they have in stock!
Later,
Sue

oct 16 for us my daughter wants the haunted mansion to be dressed up for jack and zero

Wow, you guys! You've all given it so much thought, already! I haven't!!! I imagine DD will be some kind of princess, per usual.... DS will probably be, I imagine, Indy, a Power Ranger, or something morbid, like Dead Mickey... I don't know that I could get DH to dress up. Maybe I'll be Miss Disneyland USA or something? A sash & a crown & an excuse to wear some gaudy old prom dress from the 80's? :confused3

Hmm.... maybe that's somethin....

OMG. JULIA! That is the CUTEST idea about Miss Disneyland! DO it! As a former pageant girl, I would die if there was a real Miss Disneyland pageant. Holy cow. That would be so cute though! I would hate to walk around Disneyland in a prom dress though. lol :rotfl:

We're thinking of going as a bunch of pirates (well, this is my son's idea!). I will do it if I can be a pretty in pink pirate :lmao: Aarrgh!

I love all the costumes ideas. It's so cool that there are so many choices out there. Halloween has really become a big deal in the last few years, which I love since it's my favorite holiday. :thumbsup2

I think a Miss Disneyland costume would be totally cute! :)

Starting tomorrow I'm going to be without internet access for about a week and a half. :scared1: Scary, I know. But if you get your tickets GREAT!!

Just go ahead and post your dates and I will update everything when I get back online. :thumbsup2

Coming from the Windy City to take our girls for their first trip to Disneyland! Looking forward to seeing the park decorated for Halloween, only seen WDW at Christmas. We plan on attending to Trick-or-Treat party on Friday, Oct 10.

:woohoo: :yay:

I plan on buying my ticket tonight. I'm only buying my own at the moment because neither my sister nor my friend can give me a definite answer if they will be joining me or not.

I'm not sure if I should stick with October 22nd or do October 8th. Any ideas? I'm not even considering the 15th because that looks like when Utah has their fall break.

Help!?

I wasnt aware there was an Oct 8th event even going on. I thought the only dates were the ones posted at the beginning of this thread. Am I wrong?
