Waiting to "officially" post my dates until I actually get tickets (Aug 1st) but we are hoping to go on Oct 23rd. That is the date that I am shooting for anyways. I'll post once I know for sure.

I'm travelling my boyfriend's mom. I usually don't refer to her that way because yeah, we're more like friends. She's a real sweetheart. It's her first time to Disneyland ever, so I am making sure she doesn't miss anything I think she may like.

I'm thinking about dressing up to. But I have to figure out a custome that will survive a trip from Germany first.

Our break is the first full week of October. It is ALWAYS pretty empty the week we are there (and we go every year). Wed. is definitely the least crowded, followed by Tuesday.

Our kids don't have a Fall break. Their first break isn't until around Thanksgiving. So I'll be taking them out of school for this trip.....

Then for my boss as a wedding gift I got him tickets fro the 22nd.. as I know his 'wife by that time' is off work that day and I will just schedule him off on the calender!

We are trying REALLY hard to get back down there Oct 29-Nov 3. So we are going to try to hit either the 29th or 30th. (I assume that the 31st will be CRAZY??)

I can't believe you have to wait until Aug to buy tickets...hmmm, where do you sign up for the Disney Visa? That allows you to buy tickets early right? Do they normally "sell out" or do they sell what people are willing to buy?

My young DD is looking to dress up as Tink. My older DD will be with her marching band during this time so, only 1 kid for us!!

Or maybe there's a number you can call. Yes, right now you can buy tix if you have either an AP or a Disney Visa.

I'm not sure if they normally sell out or not, but I have heard of the dates closer to Halloween selling out in the past.

I thought you can't pre purchase tickets for the 31st? That's what it says on the AP website..

We're planning on the 3rd. We can only make a Friday. While I can only make a Friday since I have work. It is Gay Days weekend, so it will be pretty busy, but we went last year and the same time and it was fine..

I'm going to buy the tickets next Friday and if for some reason we can't make it I will re-sell them to someone who can..

On the Disneyland AP website it says this:

COrrect me if i am wrong, but we aer thinking of going to the Sweet Treat/Treat o' Treat party at DCA on Friday the 10th..but i also heard that DL only does fireworks on the weekends..do they def. do them on saturday nights?? I would hate to go to the party at DCA on Friday and miss our only chance to see DL fire works ( we are staying from Wed the 8th till Sun the 12th)

They should definitely be doing the fireworks on Saturday night. Unless they are canceled due to bad weather or winds. We've had that happen to us before. They've actually stopped the fireworks half way through before, so you never know.

As for the rides in DCA being open, I know some of them are, but not all. Mainly the big ones. But yeah, there will be rides to go on.
