There is a lot that goes on during a party so you really have to pick and choose what is most important to you. If you want Jack and Sally that will take a significant portion of the party for example. Dwarfs are another long line unless you get lucky (we walked into no line for them one Christmas party. We were shocked!) You must watch the parade and fireworks. Do you have small kids? Do the dance parties interest you? We go at least 2 times per year and still after 12 parties (and 2 Christmas parties) have not gotten a pic with every character that is there!

MNSHHP is def worth it...it's so much fun. I am looking forward to the parade, fireworks and doing the rides w/ hopefully shorter lines!

The dwarfs meet near the new castle wall. Lotso is new this year and supposed to meet in tomorrowland.

The dance parties are in Frontierland (with villains) and in tomorrow land with the monsters inc crew.

I am super excited to see Lotso because my family is dressing up as Toy Story so Im hoping for a really great photo op and my 7 yr old DD is got her Lotso last time we were there and loves that it still smells like strawberries lol. Other than that I was planning to just hit the dance parties, parade and fireworks. It is our first party so not sure what else to expect so dont want to over plan want to just enjoy the moment and all the atmosphere, DD and I love Halloween.

We're going without a schedule. My kids aren't that into characters, so we'll only do ones with short lines. We'll definitely do the parade and the fireworks and the Trick-or-treating. I'm not sure if I can get them to do a dance party. And we'll squeeze in a few rides in there too! I'm presuming that a lot of planning really isn't needed since characters aren't a top priority of ours at all.

We go strictly for the short lines and the TOT trails. My kids aren't too excited about characters so that saves us a lot of time. MK has so many rides that we enjoy and we can do most all of them during a party.

It's a long day because we stay until we drop, which is usually 11:30 so we take it easy during the day and rest up and get there right at 4 to take full advantage of our time.
