I agree!! My hair is way thick and wavy, and I had this cut. I LOVED it. I could scrunch it and let it go, straighten it, and even "bump" my bangs back. I have a similar version to this now, except the back is shorter now.

You look awesome girl, and that is so great you donated your hair! enjoy that new hair!!!

if you hadn't already taken the plunge, i was going to suggest going shoulder-length with long layers, and having it thinned. i also have super super thick hair with a bit of a wave to it, and that's what i get done nearly every time. It looks great, and it requires a little less maintenance than a bob does - you really have to go back fairly often to keep that sharpness to a bob, whereas you can kind of get away with not getting it cut so often when it's all layers. That, and it doesn't need to be stick straight to look good - i just air dry for a bit, blow dry, and i'm done!
