Had to turn down job offer

I am so bummed I had to say no to the job offer that I really wanted. I would have been making twice as much as I make now.
The reason why is......my DH got a big promotion and his hours will be changing so, I will not be able to work the hours of the other job because of my DD. I am very happy and very proud of my DH but still.... I really wanted that job.

I think it's great that your DH got a promotion, and that you chose to put your DD first and not take the job offer, that says a lot about you as a parent!! Good luck to your DH! Maybe something even better will come along for you!

Thank you for the support. I don't know why but,by reading your responses all of a sudden everything made sense. It just feels right. I know in my heart it was meant to be. My DD just turned twelve and this is the age she really needs me. Thank you for helping me see the light.
