Grocery ?

A lot of the Vacation Club members use Wegoshop.com. They are very reliable and have had some great reviews over on the DVC board.

We are DVC members and used wegoshop over the 4th of July. We had a total of 9 people staying in our room for 8 days, so needless to say we needed a LOT of groceries. They were GREAT. They dropped the groceries off on the 4th, helped us carry everything to our room and got everything we needed. For a 20% tip, it was well worth the time saved.

We also use wegoshop! They are AWESOME! They will go to your choice of stores. We were getting mostly soda and water and snacks so we had them to the Wal Mart Super Center. Cost us $40 for all the stuff and $15 or something for delivery plus tip. Saved us a fortune on drinks and snacks though-even in the off season it is suprising how many bottles of water you can through! They are the best! We will use them again next time!!

We used Wegoshop in August. This was for 7 days with 6 people. Our total came to about $150, which was less then we had figured it would be. We were very happy with the service and would use them again.

I was not fond of WEGOSHOP. I had a prior order with them due to be delivered On Monday afternoon the day of the storm. Now I understand that everyone was worried about the storm. However the cancelation of the order was handled very unprofessionaly. First off when they called to cancle the order they did so at 9pm on Sunday night. I asked would they reschedule they said yes, But not until Wednsday evening. WHAT? What about Monday after the storm? Tuesday? Nope and nope. So now I am in the BCV with 3 kids and no groceries. Not amused. Why not call me earlier so I could revaulate? I went to a little get together till 11:30 and when I came back there was a note under the door saying no room service. OK so now I am in trouble here.

I ended up taking a cab at midnight alone with 3 little boys to the grocery store. I was not amused and would hesitate to count on them again in the future. they put me in a bad position which was easily avoidable.

I have to respectiviely diagree. You have no idea what was avoidable or not from theiir position. These are people that also have a family to tend to. They work out of their home. They have a small child (I know there is at least one from my conversation with them in January). They use their own cars and their time to run the business. There is no way to know how much the storm affected them and their home and family. I am sure the highly regretted the situation but did what they had to do for their safety and their families safety. I think it would have been easier for room service to run than it would have been for them to deliver. Also, who knows what grocery stores were closed during the storm or from damage after? They buy your stuff usually right before delivery so it is fresh, if they could not get to the store or the store they were going to go to was closed, that would have been another issue. To me and my family it would not be worth my saftey to deliver groceries for a measely $15-$20 if it meant a risk to me. As far as the 2 days after the storm, maybe they had other families to deliver to on those days that were supposed to be delivered before you in the first place. As for taking the cab at midnight with 3 kids, I would have never done that unless I was on my way to an urgent care or a hospital. I would have waited to get groceries until the next morning. JMHO.

Another vote for WeGoShop. We have used them 3 times and have had no issues. They even did a same day reshop for us when we ran out of a few things. Wonderful service!!
