I also like the Caramel Nut Blast bars. I tried the new Trail Mix kind and it was delicious!

I'm sure you will be able to find some healthy choices when you go out tonight. I've found it is much easier than I thought!
 
Wow - 3500 calories at the gym? You are truly motivated! What do you do there? Having a firm number like that will make it that much easier for you to reach! WTG!! Did you like the BL dvd?
 
goodeats-the egg enchilada is yummy! I'll get you the exact recipe but basically it's eggbeaters, corn tortilla, avacado, salsa, and cheddar cheese. MMMM mmmmm

Jane E-I am loving flylady! I now shine my sink every night and it's amazing how I feel about inviting people over now. So far I have three people coming by in the next 2 weeks. That wouldn't have happened before!

loveinaz-tonight got postponed till tomorrow so hopefully we will go somewhere where healthy choices can be made. No pizza joints for me!!

jennz-DH and I are really motivating ourselves on this one. He has to burn 5000 calories at the gym this week. I'm lucky and only get 3500 (I'm over 1000 so far this week). I'm really nervous about whether I will be able to make it or not but I am going to do my absolute best to reach that goal for the next 12 weeks.

How do you calculate the number of calories you are burning at the gym? I know the machines usually spit out a number, but what about weights, crunches, etc?

loveinaz-I used fitday and eventually bought the program. I don't know if it's exact but it seems pretty good so far.

Today i went to see the doctor because I needed my asthma inhaler prescription refilled and it had been a long time since I had been in w/ asthma so he wanted to see me. No problems! I have lost 6 pounds since I was there last year in Feb. Not a great loss but I'm happy with it. I then asked the nurse if she could tell me what my maximum weight was. She went back in the files to 2002 and found the number which was 209. She got a shocked look and was ecstatic over my loss so far and asked what I was doing etc....The doctor came in and he was thrilled over my loss. I am thrilled over my loss and can't wait until the rest of the pounds come off for real!!!!

s-pudding cup w/ 100's pack of cookies

I'm going out with my friend tonight (I hope!) so my workout tonight will be the biggest loser dvd when I get home (I hope!)
 
Great job on the weightloss since 2002! Thats almost 4 years ago and you not only lost the weight but have kept it off. I loved the Biggest Loser and didn't realize they had a workout dvd. How is it?

Well last night wasn't to bad. We went to Olive garden and I ate 1 plate of salad and 1 stuffed shell w/ shrimp and 1 breadstick. I got home and did not workout I was exhausted for some reason and went to bed really really early for me, I'm still in shock because I'm not one to go to sleep as early as I did.

Todays plan:
we did not stretch this morning I am having trouble with my shoulder. The muscle tightened up an incredible amount yesterday and was in a large knot and wowzers the pain. It was better this morning but still very tender so I don't want to do anything to tax it until it is more pain free.
b-2 kashi waffles w/ 1 tbsp pb
s-bar
l-turkey and black bean burrito
30 minute walk
s-cottage cheese w/ pineapple
gym for 3 mile run and weights
d-leftovers (2 stuffed shells w/ shirmp and 1 breadstick) I might fix a salad as well.
s-don't remember
ab work
 
You did great eating out! Take it easy with the workouts, you don't want to make your shoulder worse. I guess the good thing is that you can still do a bunch of lower body stuff while your upper body is healing.

Have you noticed any weight loss since you started BFL style again?

loveinaz-I haven't weighed yet trying really really hard to stay off that scale but I think there will be a definite loss from last weeks weigh in. YEAH!!!

Jane E.-Thanks I already am feeling a ton better. The cramp in the shoulder is gone. WHOOO HOOO!!! I even lifted weights last night.

Got up and did 30 minutes of deep stretching
b-spanish omelette
s-slimfast shake
l-tuna apple salad
s-pudding w/ 100's pack
30 minutes at least on the arc trainer (this didn't happen the foot needs time to heal and I have to let it)
d-stir fry
s-1 cup ff/sf pistachio pudding w/ ff cool whip and 3 ginger snap cookies

This weekend might be a challenge for me. DH and I started dating 4 years ago this weekend so we have to do something special. We can't recreate that weekend but we might try. :)
 
That's cute that you celebrate stuff like that! I will be lucky if DH remembers our wedding anniversary... :rolleyes1

Glad to hear your shoulder is better. Makes it a lot easier to work out, doesn't it?

loveinaz-yes not hurting definitely makes it easier to work out. I wish I knew what I did I think I slept wrong but I guess it will forever be one of the mysteries in life. :) I'll be lucky too if DH remembers the wedding anniversary it's the only date that doesn't have something else surrounding it. This weekend is always a three day weekend which triggers his memory, and when he proposed was the day before thanksgiving 2004 and he remembers that date as well. Fingers crossed he remebers 7/21 time will tell. :goodvibes

d-steak in lime marinade w/ sweet potato and green beans
45 more mines of the biggest loser DVD I think it might kill me but I will not give up!

Hey Jen! Welcome back!!

Today was definitely my free day and that's more than ok with me. :)
B-bowl of corn flakes w/ ff milk
l-mexican restaurant-I had 1/2 of the meal grilled chicken topped w/ queso, spanish rice, and grilled veggies 2 flour tortillas and a few chips w/ salsa and some guacamole.
d-1/2 cajun chicken sandwich at chilis 19 fries, 1/2 chocolate lava volcano cake. It has been 2 months since I last had that cake and I think I can go another two months till the next one.

On the way home from Chili's tonight DH and I were talking about how it was only two years before that we would not have split the meal but would have both eaten the entire thing plus the dessert. I'm so glad that I am not that person anymore the way I feel right now is good about myself and my eating habits. YEAH!!!!!!! It's the small accomplishments that mean the most aren't they. Now hopefully after what I had today my weight will still be what it was this morning when I peeked, we shall see. :D

No workouts today I was way to sore. Tomorrow is going to be a big day though. :)
