Gotta love bounceback! 10th ann. & family vaca PTR-9/201o-WE'RE BACK!

Love the goodies you got from Stefy...how fun. And love the new kitty pics.
I always end up shipping home onamens because I BUY too many. Mark and I usually get one new t-shirt per trip. This year, unbeknown to him, I am getting him a sword. :lmao: He keeps begging every year for one so I figured after the surgery that he will be deserving of one. ;)

I like your list of nice things to bring back too, and I'd add pressed pennies as well. Cheap and everywhere!

Fun stuff from overseas!! :thumbsup2

ugh.. I'm SO SO SOOOO sad that we will not be with you for your 10th anniversary :( SO sad we will not be with you for any of this disney trip! BUT, I am super happy for you! Great stuff from stefy!!

I think you have a good list of things to bring back! Heres some more things I always love!

*Can't recall if it was on there, but you love bringing home a giant mickey rice crispy head!! don't forget that..although you'll have to have just a tiny piece to stay on your ww track :)

*Pressed Pennies, that was a lot of fun last year!

*New autograph books..although, did you make them this year?

*A new pick a pearl?? Can't recall if you said you wanted to do that again!

* Stuff from different countries?

I can't find my "official" list, so that's of the top of my head. I'll post more if I can think of anything <3

PS- Lil kitty is cutie!!

Jenn, I had to laugh when I read the list. I'm thinking......she KNOWS me better than I know myself. How could I forget the pearl, especially?!?!?!?!?

I am so glad that you, Bob and the kids are coming to visit us next month! :yay: I can't wait for next year too and our trip to Disney!!!

Hi Kathy! First, I am so happy to hear that Mark's surgery went well.

Oooh, a sword! That sounds awesome. Joe would love one of those. He looks at them every year. Flying though makes it hard to figure out how to get one home. He keeps reminding me we can ship too. :rolleyes1

Ornaments are where I get into the most trouble. I wish I had a bigger house so I could put up more than one tree.

Joe and I usually get one hoodie each trip. Now that we have both shed a few pounds, well, Joe has shed nearly 50, we'll probably get smaller ones this time.

I added pressed pennies to my list. I dug out the book that I have going to try and figure out which ones I already have. I've already gone to the bank for my pennies and my quarters. :dance3:

Well, we've done it! My mom, sister and I are going to do a yard sale. Mom's street is having a giant one and for 7 bucks a house, they are advertising in the local papers, putting up signs, etc. I figure this is a good way to earn Disney loot!

I am going to go through our attic and storage locker for stuff to sell. I thought I'd start this weekend since the sale is at the end of the month. We have collected so much crap over the years that I think it's time to get rid of some of it. Honestly, I think I still have things from our wedding still in the boxes that I have not had a chance to use in the 10 years that we have been married. :scared1:

I have two 6 foot tables to lug to mom's house and I am starting to put things in bins to make them easier to transport. I have to go out and get garage sale stickers this weekend too.

Wish me luck! I hope to make a few $ to spend at Disney.

Phew! Garage sales are a ton of work, but can easily pull you in a couple hundred bucks!! OR MORE!! :woohoo: Good luck on moving everything OUT the door!

I hope you make lots of $. The more money to shop with at Disney the better.

They are quite the ton of work, aren't they? I think it will be worth it. Last time we had one we made $1,200!

I hope you make lots of $. The more money to shop with at Disney the better.

Thanks! I totally agree! :goodvibes I am going to the storage locker to see what I have in there. It's amazing what I have found so far that I totally forgot that I even had.

What a great idea...and for a little bit of work and organization you can make quite a bit of money sometimes!!! Good luck

Thanks, Sophia. Mark is feeling a little stronger every day. His throat is still swollen and he still has trouble swallowing; but the good news is that the pain that made him have the surgery is all gone.

Garage sales can be very good for extra cash. We used to do them all the time until a woman asked if she could go in my house to try on a dress. I don't think so!:scared1:

Good luck with the garage sale!!!

(BTW, I smiled to see Jenn post again. Hi, Jenn!!!)

Thanks. :goodvibes

Me too, glad to see she has a trip planned next year.

Thanks. :goodvibes I am hoping that we do ok at least.

Glad to hear that Mark is feeling stronger and that the pain is gone. :goodvibes

:scared1: I would lose it if someone asked to go inside the house to try on a dress.

Good Luck with the sale, hope you make lots of money to convert into Disney Dollars :goodvibes You should bake some Mickey Head cookies too :teeth:

Thanks! You've given me an idea. I think we should have a bake sale too...and maybe lemonade. :goodvibes

I did some shopping for our trip. This Weight Watcher thing is working so I had to buy smaller sizes. :rolleyes1 Who am I kidding...I was doing this: :dance3:

Here are some of the things that I picked up yesterday.

I still need to go through my things to see what fits and what doesn't. All of the stores are having sales on summer things now so I figured I should do it now while I have a chance.

We got a couple of new shirts for Joe.

I LOVE this one........

This one is nice too......

These two will tell you a little about his sense of humor..........

I just have to share these pictures. Yesterday it was blazing hot here. Unreal hot. Nasty hot. We were inside when all of a sudden I see this..........

Quality stinks because we were inside when Joe took them. This dude was determined to take the feeder down. It got funny when the dang thing started spinning and he was just hanging there. :rotfl2:

Great purchases! I recently got a couple of shorts for my trip, but I still need to find more! I especially love the t-shirts. I recently bought my DH a few comic book ones (Wolverine and Hulk) which he loves. He likes to wear them on days where he "feels like an adult". :lmao:

Hi there! :wave2:

I think those graphic t-shirts for men are a riot. I love them. Joe seems to have collected quite a few over the years. Today we were going through clothes (in prep for the garage sale) and he found a couple hilarious ones. I don't think he's going to part with them though. :rolleyes1

I popped over and subbed to your PTR. I am still chuckling over the letter from Buzz. It's awesome! I loved it! :thumbsup2

Love the new clothes. I got to say my favorite t-shirt is the "STUD" one...this is my DH -- he would wear that for sure.

The squirrel is too funny. We are busy fighting Japanese beetles and I'm about to lose my mind with them.

Isn't that shirt hilarious? There is one that we are combing the city for. We've been to every Kohl's store to try and find it because they don't sell it on line. He wants it bad. It says something like "what's that? I can't hear you over my own awesomeness." :lmao::lmao::lmao: He has some that are just plain stupid though and I cringe if he tries to take them to Disney with us. The one that I really hate says "cut your mullet" and has a cartoon character of a dude with a mullet. He thinks it's funny because he HAD one for YEARS when he was a kid............

:scared1: Yikes, Japanese beetles. We've not had them here but I tell you what, those dang black ants that march to the house every spring drive me insane. I see them and go nuts. Everyone here has them for at least a week in the spring. You should see the hardware store. It's like they are giving stuff away that week with the lines of people getting stuff to get rid of them. It's got to be the worst week of the year for me. They totally gross me out.
