Gotta love bounceback! 10th ann. & family vaca PTR-9/201o-WE'RE BACK!

I was really looking forward to our trip in Sept 2008. I got to meet Inkedupmomma this trip and she has become one of my closest friends. It was amazing how we became so close in such a short time. I just adore her and her family.

Don't laugh, but yes, I took THIS MUCH LUGGAGE!

Joe got me this as an early wedding anniversary gift:

Joe and I stayed at AKL this trip. My mom, sister and nephew stayed at CBR. I love both of these resorts. We had a very long walk to our room which was hard on Joe's back by the end of the night. That was the only negative thing about the resort. I, on the other hand, was so HAPPY to have ZEBRA DOMES so close by! OMG, I love, love, love those darn things.

Here are some pictures of AKL:

Awesome pictures!!! All of them. I absolutely LOVE the Mickey rings. I WILL be telling my dh about those!! I really want one!! I loved your MNSSHP party pictures, we'll be doing that for our first time this september, can't wait.

And I am also planning my MNSSHP on a tuesday night even though the dis has it on sunday and friday. That can't be right cause there are EMH that sunday night and tues MK closes at 7pm! So i'm sticking with my schedule too, and hoping that i'm right about that!

Loving all the pictures, those Mickey rings are lovely. Joe does get you good presents doesn't he :goodvibes

I might try and do some searching for party dates if I can, will let you know if I come up with anything :)

Good luck with your ADR's this weekend :thumbsup2

Thanks. I was so surprised when he gave me the rings before we left. :lovestruc

I think that we're both right and that MNSSHP will be on Tues and Fri like it's been every week for the last few years. I think that you'll love the party. It's so much fun!

Thanks Stefy. Joe does come up with awesome gifts!

I've been searching for confirmation on party dates and have not found anything yet. I'll be waiting to hear if you are able to find dates. :goodvibes

From what I have seen on the boards, most people are saying that dates may be released around April and tickets on sale in May.

Just ran Disney themselves and the CM said that they have heard nothing as of yet, but to keep an eye out in the next month or two.

Well April is not too far away so hopefully fingers crossed they will release the dates then.

If I remember correctly, the dates came out in April last year and tickets went on sale on May 1st.

I'm crossing my fingers that based on the way that they hours are posted, it will be Tuesday and Friday of the week that we are there.

Question for everyone:

If you were booking your ADR's and a Wishes Cruise, which would you book first? Would you book the cruise and then start booking ADR's? I'm just wondering if I will get all of the ADR's that we want if I spend the time booking the cruise first?

The current plan is that Joe will get up early on Sunday with me and that he will book the cruise while I start on the ADR's. I'll shoot for the Fantasmic package first since they are so stinkin' hard to get and then go from there in our order of "must do."

I just wonder how people that do Disney on the fly without preparation do it? :rolleyes1 I'd worry that I would get closed out of every ADR that we wanted. :confused3

I think your current plan, Joe books the Cruise and you the ADR's, sounds good. As long as you know where you want to eat before the Cruise it should be fine :thumbsup2

Hope that helps :)

We spent a day at DAK. For some reason we never seem to get more than a day at this park. Here are some pictures.

While we were on KS, we hit something or something happened to our truck. They sent this dude out to check it out.

Even with our truck issues, we managed to get a look at this guy:

My mom discovered her favorite thing this trip.....African stew from the Mara at AKL

CIMG2819.jpg

We also ventured off property for a day and went to the Florida Mall. We did some shopping on the way back in Kissimmee too and what we lovingly call....the junk stores.

CIMG2841.jpg

We also tried Raglan Road for the first time.

CIMG2847.jpg

CIMG2846.jpg

And of course, we had to check out the Harley store. One thing I remember about the store is that this was where we were that we got the "news." Joe had been in a terrible accident 3 weeks prior and totaled his Expedition. We had purchased a used Escalade or Yukon...can remember which....the dealership got it in and called us and said that there was no way they could sell us the car...it looked like "all hell broke loose: in there as they described it. Joe was so mad. I did manage to get this shot of him though and then we made my mom and my nephew pose to.

This was also the trip that we discovered these babies at Goofy's.

I love those Goofy frozen drinks! They are yummy.

We never did figure out what we hit on KS. The guy came out and checked it all out and then let us go on our way. They did pull our truck off at the end ..... probably to inspect it further.

Kona breakfast is awesome!
