Gotta love bounceback! 10th ann. & family vaca PTR-9/201o-WE'RE BACK!

Well at least it wasn't anything serious on KS :thumbsup2

You going to get more of those Goofy Frozen drinks this year?

When we got back to AKL on our anniversary, these were waiting for me:

There was a small, beautiful, crystal Mickey attached to the rose.

This was there too:

I sent Joe an edible arrangement which was awesome. The pineapple was shaped like Mickey heads. If I can only find a picture ...............

Ok my friends....so I am an IDIOT!!!! Do you think that I remembered to get up and turn my clocks ahead an hour??? UM..................NO!!!!!!!! OMG, I got up at 7:05 a.m. instead of 6:05. I had planned to get up an hour early and sort out all of my last minute stuff so that I could make my dinning ADR's. Dumb*** that I am, forgot about the clock turning crap so with eyes half open, no beverage, etc., I called Disney to start making ADR's.

I called the PLAY line first so that I could get my Wishes Cruise booked. So, it seems that the day I chose is a tentative, just maybe, MNSSHP night. :lmao: Um, every year that we've gone this same week there has been a party. :woohoo: It looks like we will be seeing Hallowishes from our boat. :woohoo: I got the larger boat since it's the only one with sound. I am SOOOOOOOO happy!!!!!!!! I did not pay the extra loot to have the boat decorated .... especially since they don't let you take any of the decorations with you. I'm fine with that though. AND.........we are sailing out of the WL so that's an extra bonus for me....sailing out of our own resort! :woohoo::yay::woohoo:

The CM I talked to was awesome. She didn't transfer me to the dining line but instead made my ADR's for me. She said to save time, we'd make them all and then go back and she'd read all of the confirmations to me. So glad we did that. I got EVERYTHING we wanted!!!!!!!!!!! I had to bend on a couple of times. Most notably for our Mama Melrose Fantasmic package, but that's okay.

I was very surprised this year and which ADR's required a credit card guarantee and the cancellation policy. I don't recall it being like this before. There are a few that I made that require a 3 day cancellation. If we don't cancel then there is a $10 per person charge to my credit card. The Cruise has a separate cancellation policy.

I am going to sort all this stuff out and then post the places that we were able to get.

Yay :yay: Am so glad you got everything you wanted and I told you Fantasmic wouldn't be a problem :thumbsup2

Looking forward to seeing the final list :)

First of all, that Tusker house breakfast looked awesome!

Secondly, Joe really treats you right - what a romantic!

Third - OMG how crazy to have your ADR fall on Daylight Savings day! Although, I guess since you got everything you wanted, maybe it was GOOD luck. Maybe everyone else slept late, too!:thumbsup2

Thanks. I still have not had a chance to organize my final list. I was out a good part of the day yesterday so I will need to do it when I get home from work tonight.

Tusker is one of our favorite breakfasts. The one negative about it....it is LOUD in there. I mean, really, really, loud.

Yes, Joe is quite the romantic. Surprises me all the time. :lovestruc

I was in such a panic when I realized the time yesterday morning. :scared1:

Great job booking your wishes cruise! That's so exciting!!! And I would do something like that..... not set my clock ahead when I had ADRs to make!;)

I was so worried that we would not get to cruise out of WL. I still can't believe that I did that with the clock. Duh, what a dork I am!

Hey lady  how goes the finalising?

Forgot to add, the month layout is up on the US website for October, hopefully they will start filling in the boxes v soon :thumbsup2

I wish I could say that I was much further along. :rolleyes1

I was reading through my notes though and I think that the cancellation policies may have changed a bit. I don't recall in the past needing to leave a credit card number for Akershus. If you cancel after 3 days out, it's $10 per person. It's the same for the Fantasmic package at Mama Melrose. :confused3

I've managed to have only 5 meals to pay for out of pocket which I am happy about.

I am going to get this organized and into my binder as well as post it here soon. I hope to get it done within the next couple of days. :dance3:

I only remember having to give my credit card details for one restaurant in 2008. I can understand them wanting to take details now, as what with the online system in place I think there are a few people who are booking certain restaurants at the same time same day and either not cancelling or cancelling nearer the time.

Not bad that you have 5 OOP meals, out of how many in total?

I only remember having to give my credit card numbers for CRT in the past. Not sure if this is new or what? :confused3

I am getting ready to post all of my ADR's now. :yay: finally......... :rotfl2:

I can't believe it has taken me this long, but here are my ADR's. All were booked last weekend.

I did learn though that they add an automatic gratuity of 18% to all ressies with 6 or more people. Guess I didn't remember that from last year. :confused3

:wizard:Day of Arrival

Lunch at Roaring Forks at WL
Dinner at Earl of Sandwich at DTD

:tigger:Day 2

BOMA for breakfast at AKL
Flame Tree for lunch at DAK
Fulton's for dinner at DTD

:darth:Day 3

Roaring Forks at WL for quick counter service breakfast
Studio Catering for lunch at DHS -- I love this place for some reason
Mama Melrose Fantasmic package for dinner - had to leave credit card for this one

::MinnieMo Day 4

Roaring Forks for breakfast
Casey's for lunch - my entire family LOVES this place. Yeah, we know it's just hot dogs, but for some stupid reason, they are the best on the planet!
Ohana for dinner - never been here for dinner - we are all excited to try it!

:tinker:Day 5

Crystal Palace for early breakfast
Snacks for lunch due to early dinner adr
Whispering Canyon early dinner
MNSSHP will most likely be tonight

As an aside, when I was making my ADR's I was talking to the CM about the park hours. Since MK closes at 7 this night I asked her about MNSSHP. She said that while she couldn't confirm at this time, she did agree that historically this was the night of this particular week where there was a party in the past. :rolleyes1 I'm crossing my fingers. April is right around the corner so hopefully we will know soon if there is a party that night.

:earsboy:Day 6

Roaring Forks for breakfast
Sunshine Seasons for Lunch at Epcot
Kouzzina for dinner

My family is really, really looking forward to Kouzzina. Joe, my mom and I went last year and it was incredible. Mom is still talking about it!

:flower1: Day 7

Akershus for Breakfast at Epcot - had to leave credit card for this one
Yorkshire Fish for Lunch at Epcot - Joe has been DYING to try this place!
GF Cafe for Dinner - I can't wait. I LOVE this place!!!

:love2: Day 8 - our 10th anniversary :bride:

Kona for Breakfast at the Poly
Snacks for a light lunch
Yachtsman for dinner

We are not doing a park this day. Joe wants a day to relax. We are though going to do a Photo Session at WL either before or after lunch. I want to do some shopping so I hope I can talk him into the Outlet Malls!

:sail: This is the night of our Wishes Cruise. So, interestingly enough, the park closes at 7 but we have to be at the Marina at WL at 8:30 because the fireworks are scheduled for 8:30. I think that means that we are gonna see HALLOWISHES! :yay::yay::yay::yay:

:upsidedow Day 9

Roaring Forks for Breakfast
Sanaa for lunch at AKV - really looking forward to this!
Diamond Horseshoe for dinner - never tried this place yet

:teeth: Day 10

Roaring Forks again...

My brother asked me why so many times? I think it is because of convenience and the fact that we can all get something different. I am really going to try and stick to healthy eating as much as I can. I like RF because I can get yogurt, etc. there and we can grab quick meals.

Sunshine Seasons for Lunch -- I really like this place. There is such a variety. Something for everyone

Maya Grille for dinner - we loved it last year

:sad1: Day 11 - Going Home! I HATE THIS DAY!!

This day will totally depend on what flights we can get home. I am hoping for the last flight out which right now is at 3. If that is the case, we will probably go to Earl of Sandwich for breakfast (we love it there) and then squeeze in another park for a few hours. I love ending at MK but it so hard at times to get out of there! It's much easier to end at DHS since it's so easy to get to the car and go!

The way it works out for us, there are 5 meals that will be out of pocket. They are:

Boma (I can use my TIW card here for a discount)
Fultons (I can use my TIW or AP here for a discount)
Sanaa (I can use my TIW ... I think)
Diamond Horseshoe
Earl of Sandwich

So, what do you think?????

The next trip that I wanted to share with you was May 2009. This was a very special trip for us. We had finally convinced my brother to join us! We were going to Star Wars Weekend. We where there over Memorial Day weekend.

We stayed at Pop because I was able to get the room for under $70 a night. In short, will we stay there again, no. I did however like the food court. They have hummus there that is excellent! Never seen at any other food court before.

When we arrived, this is what we saw:

Yep, it would be the trip to remember! I've never seen so much rain!!

Joe took this of us while driving to the resort from the airport. Yep, not a good idea, but he did it.

I remember having a car issue too. My brother had to get out and check to see what "fell off." Yikes!

We spent a day at each park from what I remember. I did a full TR and the link is below so I'm going to just post pictures ... my favorites from the trip.

Here goes:

My favorite picture spot!

Thanks! I was really worried that we'd not get what we wanted since I got up late. I'm glad that it worked out.

I can't wait to try Ohana for dinner. We really like breakfast there and are looking forward to experiencing dinner.

I'm getting ready for more FB pics. :cutie:
