trying again....

I've been walking around in both (inside the house) for the last 2 days. I agree w/ the OP that the crocs give more support and have more bottom cushioning. I was just concerned as being a 7.5....the smalls seemed a bit small on me. (The payless runs bigger) But I have to say, in just 2 days they are stretching a bit to be PERFECT...and are VERY comfortable. I think they'll be my Disney sandal vs. my Teva's. The straps on the teva's are so hard to adjust. (I have a very high instep and just can't seem to get the right foot comfortable)

Anyway, my Crocs are in navy....and they look like the navy on the web site.

I bought the 9, in both, I may have been able to get the 8 but my feet are chronically swollen and increase with the heat. I knew they'd stretch but didn't know if they'd stretch enough to be comfy. Of course, now I keep thinking I should have gone with the 8 :confused3

We are having temps in the 80's these last couple of days. (Rare to find in NE in April) and I think even the crocs are kind of hot. But then I find it hard adjusting to such heat when just 4 days earlier it was in the 30's at night!!!!

Dh's khaki ones are a pretty true khaki. I got the sage green and love the color..seemed to be pretty close to the website color. But, I did have a pair of the butter in my hands at a Filene's here. And they were much closer in color to the website butter than your shoes seem. They were a really pretty color..not garish at all. Maybe something went dreadfully wrong with your batch.

Mine look more like a sage green and yet it said Emerald green :confused3

I actually bought a pair of butter crocs today! I love them!

I didn't like the way the butter ones looked on the website - it was more like "cream." However, when I saw them in the store, I thought they were very, very pretty. Sort of the color of a yellow post-it or scrambled eggs... :rotfl2:

I found the sizing to be a bit off. I wear a size 8 in shoes. I tried on the Medium (what is suggested for a size 8) but they were too big. The smalls are perfect for me.

And...they are sooo comfy! Can't wait to wear them to the parks.

So I went a quest for Crocs today! I stoped at the REI near me (the one I called and asked if they had them and they said no,) but I was driving right by and didn't have any kids with me so I stopped. I asked someone, they said "No" like they never heard of them. As I was leaving I found them! I told the guy "this is what I was talking about" and he said "Oh Croc's!" DUH!

Anyway they had a blue color I really liked, but the smallest size was a womens 7 and it was REALLY big on me like would not stay on my feet. I normally wear a 6 1/2 so I know to go small now. If a small fits you, (normally a 8) I am going to need an extra small.

Yes the colors looked much different in person then on the web site. That is why I was going for black, can't go wrong with that. I would of got the blue, it was really pretty.

I also looked at Pay Less and they did not have anything like them. What are the ones at payless called and what do they look like (can you post a pic please?) I leave for WDW a week from friday and I don't think I am going to be able to find them on line. I have ordered a black Nile pair from the web site, but I was emailed they are on back stock.

The good news is the ecco sandels I ordered from Amazon should be here tmw! (here is a link to them. I have heard good things about this brand.)

Oh, and speaking of shoping I went in the Northstoms RACK store near us for the 1st time today! It was GREAT!!!!!!! I am hooked! :cheer2:

On my computer those Emerald ones look pretty teal to me. I wanted to get them but I don't want a bluish-green, at all. Are they really a true green or are they more teal?

If you have a Wild Oats grocery store near you, you could check with them for Crocs. That's where I got mine in Louisville.

By the way - your baby is adorable!! :Pinkbounc

I just want to second the differences in size and color. I bought a pair of red ones locally and loved them. I really wanted pink but they didn't have them. Luckily I went to Colorado on vacation a couple of weeks ago and found the pink ones. I didn't try them on, but just bought the same size as the red. They are smaller. It's not a great big deal, but my toes do touch the end which is kind of annoying. I'm hoping they'll stretch a little. Also, got my DD a pair of pink. She wears a different size than me, and hers and mine are 2 different shades of pink. In the store every pair in her size were darker than every pair in my size.

They are more of a sage green...I don't see blue in them at all.

I have emerald green and they are MUCH darker than the ones pictured!!!! They look pretty much like the ones on the CROC website. I would say just a "shade" brighter green, not much though, they are still really dark. I would say they are almost the darkness of navy. The ones Maxaroni posted look nothing like them!!!! I would say those look like the sage!!!

Wild Birds Unlimited had both the sage and the emerald green in the beach models and the ones Maxaroni posted looked just like their sage. Their emerald was a really, really dark, almost deep forest green. They also had a couple different shades of pink. The cashier there said the main problem they had had with them (besides keeping them in stock) is that different shipments fit differently. I tried on several pairs of med (wear a size 8) and she was right. One of the mediums was significantly smaller than the other two. The Niles also fit ALOT smaller than the Beach or Cayman styles. By the way all of their Crocs (including the Caymans--$39.99 on Crocs web site) were priced at $29.99.
