GoPro and Typhoon Lagoon wave pool

So... I really want to get some good video of us in the crazy wave pool at Typhoon Lagoon with our waterproof GoPro. Is that allowed? Am I required to have a certain mount, or some way to strap it to my wrist or something?

If you have ever been in that wavepool, you know how you tumble with those waves. . Love it.

We use a Sony Tough. You will be fine. No selfie sticks though.

Yes its fine as long as you don't have a super long selfie stick hooked to it. I use mine all the time with the floating handle by GoPro. Only place I've had problems is on a Disney Cruise. They only let you use the GoPro if it is attached by the wrist strap or head strap.

I'm not sure whether or not they are allowed but I have seen them used at Typhoon Lagoon in the wave pool before.

Definitely get a wrist strap. It's super convenient for all of the water park slides, etc and in the theme parks.
