Goofy gifts?

Every year I try and buy omething crazy for my DH and DS's for Christmas. One year, nerf guns, another flying monkeys, etc. Last year it was remote control helicopters. Seems like something is flying or being throw around christmas morning!! My Dsons are 17 and 20 so we need a few toys!!

I haven't been able to find anything different this year It is looking to be a boring Christmas morning......

Any ideas?

My mom used to do that for me and my two brothers. Usually it was some sort of nerf guns that we could shoot @ eachother. What about marshmallow shooters? Get them each one of those and a bag of marshmallows and they'll be set for a good 45 minutes.

I do the same for my DH, but this year I have really struggled. I have heard the marshmellows make a terrible mess, so I hadn't really considered it too much. Any experience with one?

My DH is into R/C airplanes so one year I bought him an electric plane. He does not care for it. Another year my mother got us the fighting bugs. Those were neat. I haven't seen them sold anywhere for years. Yet another year my mom got him one of those shooting games that are self-contained. He played with that most the morning. Santa brought him a race car track one year and he still brings that out every now and get.

Have you seen the Duck Hunter game? My kids and I got a huge laugh out of it. An RC duck that flies around the room and you try and shoot it with your gun (infrared maybe?)

There's also something similar I saw in yesterday's paper that was a skeet shooter. Same deal, skeet goes up, and you try and shoot it.

My boys got marshmallow crossbows at the family Christmas party yeserday. What a blast! They had a great time. It wasn't much of a mess. We just picked up the marshmallows when they were done.

We have had the other types of marshmallow shooters that shoot the mini marshmallows, but they seem to like the crossbows better. They shoot the large marshmallows.

The Duck shooting game looked great but had terrible reviews. Not sure about that one.

The marshmallows shooters I am concerned as I have carpeting in my livingroom and don't want stickiness on it...

I saw a skeet shooter like the duck hunt game. Anyone have any experience with that ?

Buy the marshmallow guns. Then, buy and open a bag of marshmallows now. If you do this, the marshmallows will dry out and won't be as sticky.

We used the guns at my mom's house and it was fine. We just made sure to clean up afterwards.

This year for my two adult DSons and their children I bought the Sing-A-Magigs. I guess I should have bought one for my DH, too, because he played with the six I bought until I wrapped them up yesterday. I can't wait until they all open them and see their faces and listen to them laugh about it and watch them "play." It's going to be so much fun!

I got an excellent deal on them at Kohl's with their sale and with my percentage off plus purchased just enough more to make it possible to get the $10 Kohl's cash.
