Finally made my reservations for the girls trip. My mom and I are staying at Best Western Park Place Inn...she didn't want to stay at Carousel
Dropped my check in the mailbox for the Meet and Greet party for my mom and I.
Bought part of our exchange gifts today for the Meet and Greet.
Next up park tickets, but that will probably have to wait a few months. Those prices make my face and hair go:
I'm starting to get really excited, especially seeing all the pictures from the Divas that went this past weekend.

I saw that there were more monkey bride sightings and new believers that she does exist!

I've been watching the airfares and I noticed that Southwest flights out of Sacramento are down to $59 right now. They were up at $103. This is for leaving on Thursday. The flights back are still in the $100 range but it is a Sunday.

When are you flying out?

Stole my thoughts...the $59 are through January, but 2/23 did drop to $84. I think I am buying this week while they are low. I am planning on taking the 9:15 flight out of Sac (arriving at SNA at 10:50) and flying home the last flight on Sunday. THat is $84 headed to DL and $105 headed home. What are the rest of the NorCal ladies doing?

So far gluten/FB free is going fine. I am actually finding that cutting out the gluten has made me not gassy at all TMI, but I had to share with someone.... BJ's has gluten free pizza which is terrific and I made gluten free spaghetti tonight and it tasted like the regular pasta.

On another note, did anyone watch Once Upon a Time? Thoughts? I am loving it!

I had such a great time with the girls on Saturday night! I hated to leave but needed to get back to my hubby. We had a fun time all weekend just going with the flow and walking around, went on a few rides and saw WOC, Fantasmic, Aladdin and the Billy show.

I had recorded Once Upon a Time and just watched it. Loved it and can't wait for the next episode.
Everyone be sure to watch Grimm which starts this Friday! My son-in-law works on the crew (it is filmed in Portland) and he and Lisa went to the premier on Sunday and saw the first two episodes. They had a great time and said it looks like a really good show.

I have been taking the H&R Block tax class and been hired as an office manager and tax preparer. Training started today for a few hours each week and I will be working full time January-April. It's temporary and doesn't pay much but it is better than nothing and gives me time to figure out what I want to do next.

It's hard to believe that the trip is only 4 months away! We have one or two spots left in our villa group so if anyone is interested let me know. I have also stayed at BWPPI and agree that the Carousel is better.

Wow, I am caught up! I have been missing in action and got way behind!

So glad to hear about the fun times the Divas had in DL. I am going to look at the pics on FB as soon as I get a minute here.

Laurie, my Mom has been married 5 times, and my Dad 3 times. I have experience with steps and halves both. It is difficult at best. Shouldn't be but it is. I have told my husband that there will be no divorce in our household. End of story. So far so good. I agree though, focus on the joy of the family that you have. That's what I do every day!

Well, I have just started planning our first Disney World adventure. I didn't want to do it, but we are going in summer. Hurricane season to be exact The trade off is that it will be an 18 day trip with a cruise at the end. We are big heat wimps and certainly the humidity will do us in, so my theory is to go slow, adjust to climate, swim alot, and take breaks. Really excited to start planning though...

We are big time fairytale people too and Katy has been reading the Sister Grimm series so she is really excited about the two new shows. I missed OUT on Sunday but we watched it online and we like it so far. Anxious to check out Grimm this week also. I love these types of shows but am wondering how they will fare with the general public. I hope they last but kind of afraid cuz I know that people tend to like the same old boring junk. Reality stuff and cop shows it seems LOL.

But as far flights we are going down the monday before because of our cruise but we are leaving Sunday night. I am not sure which flight since my mom bought those tickets. We used our credit from our nov trip which was ROUND trip and it only paid for ONE way this time. CRAZY! But anyway I think we are probably taking one of the mid evening flights like around 7 or something. So if anyone is going on that one it would be fun to see you guys!!

Oh Sara I am sorry! That stinks. Did you perhaps get trip insurance just in case? Is there someone else that could go in his place if god forbid he can't go so you don't lose all your money? Gosh that really sucks. I hope things work out one way or the other!

Katy broke her arm 3 weeks before we went to DisneyWorld last year but luckily got her cast off like 2 days before we left. I hope he feels better soon!!

Thanks Kelly...it is starting to feel a lot better...although yesterday I was gimping around work like the Hunchback of NotreDame!

I had a little panic attack last night. My iphone crashed while I was playing Words with Friends. The horror! I couldn't get it to power on, so I had to go into the Apple store this morning. Those geeks are geniuses! My phone is up and running, and I have my life back!

Hellooooo ladies!!!! Did ya miss me????

I've been back home since Monday night, but not really online much except to load some photos onto Facebook. It was such a great time!!! I loved it! Many, many thanks to all those who helped make this birthday truly one of the all time best ever birthdays thus far in my life. I love this group!!

But back to business.....laundry, bills, and the kicker, a minivan that is once again, yes, once again, on the fritz. Clearly reality missed me, as it gave me a great big welcome back slap! LOL!! Oh well, that's life, right? Smile and move on.

Just an FYI, the Christmas stocking sign-ups will be starting November 1st! Not much longer now for those of you who've been waiting for that. And the meal sign-ups for the trip will be starting sometime next month as well. So keep your eyeballs peeled for those.
Finally, the deadline Capri set for the Meet and Greet is fast approaching!! October 31st is when you need to PM her by and let her know your plans for the Meet and Greet. Thanks!!

The birthday girl was beautiful as usual and her dinner party was a success. It was so nice to see everyone (especially my twin Capri ) and the Halloween Party was fun.

I had a blast at Knott's Scary farm!! I didn't think I would enjoy it as much as I did because I'm not into scary Halloween. I'm more of the cutsy Halloween type . I had so much fun that night that my jaw was sore from laughing so much and my voice was a little hoarse the next day from screaming.

That was so fun!!!!!! Honestly, I think it was the most fun I had all weekend. LOL! Well, big surprise since I love a good scare. We simply must do that again next October! Must, must, must. And we need to get a bigger group. More victims...
