Hellooooo ladies!!!! Did ya miss me????

Hmm, are you implying I talk a lot??? :rolleyes1 ;)
Sorry to hear about the family issues and Michaylea's surgery, but how awesome that you'll get to go to DL for Christmas time!!! :santa:

:rotfl2: No, not that you talk to much.....but with out your guidence....we just don't know what to do without you......lol :rotfl:

Thanx  a bunch of things all at once.....made harder to sort thru it with a clear head....feeling a bit better now. Still not happy about Michayla having to have open heart surgery....but glad they have the technology to fix the problem.

:yay: totally excited to be in DL for the holidays...even if it's only for 2 full days.....I'll Take IT!!!!!!! :woohoo:

Just an FYI for NorCal Divas....

I've been watching the airfares and I noticed that Southwest flights out of Sacramento are down to $59 right now. They were up at $103. This is for leaving on Thursday. The flights back are still in the $100 range but it is a Sunday.

Thanks for the tip! I'll get with Trish tomorrow and see which flight out she wants to be on. I'm thinking the 8:30, but we did the 10:20 last time.

And now I see that it's still at $84. I think I may sit it out another couple weeks and see if we get some $59 fares into February.....

Looks like the flights on Wednesday are $59 but Thursday is $84. Hm. The flight we are on coming home has gone up. We bought in August and it was $103. Now it's $125. We are on the 4:15PM flight Sunday. Since Trish has to drive for an hour after we get back, we wanted to get home at a reasonable hour this time. LOL

For everyone flying out of Sacramento, Jet Blue is $203 R/T including taxes to Long Beach. Anyone arriving at 10:30am Thursday and/or leaving at 7:25pm Sunday can share a cab with us or I might rent a car if the price is right.

I had a fun day tromping around the mall with my hubby. Had planned to use a Groupon for The Body Shop but they aren't running the same sale as the online store.. boooooo hisss. I think I will hang on until the next sale starts to make it stretch a little more.

I had already bought a costume. But the more I thought of it, the more I decided I didn't really like it. Walked into Torrid, they have cute ones for 50% off. Hot Topic is 50-75% off for you not so round people ;)
So I splurged and bought yet another costume, Minnie Mouse! It's cute! Very decent quality and will last longer, fits nice too. ::yes:: I tried their Queen of Hearts outfit, it seersuckered to my belly (ugh) and would take some creative fash tape placement to prevent serious bra peekage.I am a short, round belly, and not much into cleavage baring. If you are taller, not much belly and wider shoulders- you would be set. :thumbsup2

Later, hubby convinced the man-child to dress in drag as a witch, that other costume will be used after all. :lmao:

The three of us are going to a dance club downtown.. three "ladies" in various attire (hubby is going in drag: he has the cutest pink headband, dyed his super short hair pink, has new ear piercings, black dress and stockings.. he is a middle age roundish short man.. yeah not a pretty picture) , this will be interesting as we take the bus instead of dealing with the hassle of parking. Maybe I should pack some mace to protect my guys? :rolleyes1

So, what are your Halloween plans? :upsidedow

We may rent a car as well. Not sure yet. Does anyone who has done the ensenada cruises out of long beach know if there is any kind of transportation from the cruise terminal to Disneyland or perhaps if we took a cab to the long beach airport could we get transport there?

Trying to figure out the best and cheapest way to get there.

Thanks.

Good morning ladies!! :)

My morning started with the super loud blaring of all our smoke alarms going off at quarter to 5. :scared1: No smoke, no fire, just lots of chaos and noise. I guess one of the alarms is faulty. We'll have to call someone out here to check it out. :confused3

But the good thing is, the kid's are home from school for the next four days! So no early morning rushing, and no afternoon homework battles. Yay!

Hi everyone! :wave2:

I've been sick sick sick but starting to feel well enough to move again, if only my fingers on the keyboard - lol! :goodvibes
Aw, what happened? Stomach issues? Fever? Cold? I hope you get better soon.

:lmao: Now that is truly hilarious. ;)

:rotfl2: I love it! That sounds awesome!! Better protect your "women" and make sure no one tries to pick them up on Halloween.

Our plans are pretty much the same every year. I have about 13 large storage totes in the garage full of Halloween items that I will be hauling out this weekend so we can start decorating the outside of our house. In addition to setting up the 5 fog machines, lights, music, etc. It's tiring, but fun. And the neighborhood kids really like it.
It's not that we do such a great display. More that our area is a bit snooty and uppity, and too good for Halloween, so we have the best stuff for our particular neighborhood, if that makes sense. It's fun to see the kids getting all scared, and the parents taking photos. :goodvibes

Ruben and Adam usually stay behind to tend to the trick-or-treaters, while I'll take the girls out to get candy.

Just booked my flight. Trish is going to book the same one. We will be on the 9:25 AM out of Sac and arrive in Orange County at 10:50AM on Thursday! WOO HOO!

Since the day before has $59 flights and that Saturday has them, I don't think that Thursday's are going to come down below the $84.

Good morning all .

My tooth is F'ing killing me!!! I took 4 Advils a couple hours ago and it barely took the edge off. I feel like pulling the sucker out myself with a pair of pliers ;).

That was so fun!!!!!! Honestly, I think it was the most fun I had all weekend. LOL! Well, big surprise since I love a good scare. We simply must do that again next October! Must, must, must. :thumbsup2 And we need to get a bigger group. More victims... :rolleyes1

Count me in :thumbsup2. I'm already planning on trying for a villa for sometime in October so we have to think of some dates before the 7-month mark :).

Finally made my reservations for the girls trip.

WooHoo!!!

Hi everyone! :wave2:

I've been sick sick sick but starting to feel well enough to move again, if only my fingers on the keyboard - lol! :goodvibes

:flower3: Feel better girl. Maybe you should cut out the beer for breakfast....just a thought :confused3 ;).

That's a sure fire way to get the blood pumping in the morning! No need for coffee this morning!

Ouch on the tooth! Hope that gets better FAST!

I love all the planning.... makes it seem closer!

Aw, what happened? Stomach issues? Fever? Cold? I hope you get better soon.

Coughing, hacking, fever, chills, and a bod that felt like it was someone's punching bag, especially my back and sides. Getting back to normal now, so YAY! :yay:

Oh no, sorry about the tooth Katie! That sounds really awful!

I'm feeling much better! Cut out beer for breakfast?!!! That's crazy talk! :cool2:

Capri, glad you're starting to feel better!!

Katie, tooth pain I think is the worse thing in the world!! Hope you get some relief soon!!

Haven't booked anything yet for the Girl's Trip.....been looking at prices & probably will at least get the motel booked next week. Kinda waiting to see if prices for flights will come down. Right now I'm looking at $134 which isn't bad but I got $99 flights for December....so hoping to see that again!!

Katie: I know Linda and I are already planning too--I think we were thinking of October 12th and 13th.

ETA: and that would mean Beth's annual pass would still be good . . . . .

Super Shuttle might pick up there.

Awesome! I love when people get into the holiday spirit.. any holiday.. and decorate to bring a bit of fun and warm fuzzy smiles for the entire neighborhood. Have you watched this? Now here's some real over the top.. how the heck did they do that? decorating.. we watched it over and over last night. (The house is in Riverside, CA.. if we still lived nearby we would be hanging out there!) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WAXMtUCcp7o

yay for travel plans and reservations! Mine are set , thanks to a lovely wonderful friend :goodvibes :thanks::jumping1:

Arriving on Wednesday, departing on Monday morning.
Staying at BWPPI with Alison (sameyeam)

I have two possibilities for part of the Meet and Greet exchange. Keeping my eye out for some fun stuff to add. I will be hitting the after Halloween sales for inspiration and possible goodies. :thumbsup2
Partial costume for the party too.. it needs some "spookifying", truly I am hopeless with this creative stuff but I have a very creative artsy husband, so I won't look totally pathetic.

Speaking of hubby, he dumped our entire collection of Lego onto the living room floor (it's a huge 50 gallon tote - you know, the big ones that you can stuff a person inside if you need to dispose of them.. ya that one). Scared the cat who was eating her kibble - bang! goes her bowl and I look to see all of her kibble scattered across the kitchen floor. Uhh honey? That's your mess too. :sad2: He dug through all the Lego and filled a gallon ziploc bag just of people and animals to set aside. Now happily creating weird watches and Ipod/Touch covers. At least this creative moment doesn't involve hair dye or body piercings.

Katie - I hope your tooth feels better soon!

Actually it won't. Unfortunately, they activated it the day that Jill purchased it (in September)....... :sad2:

Oh no! I thought they didn't activate until they got used at the gate?

 Ugh, I hate tooth pain. Then again, I hate dentists just as much. Take a couple shots of tequila. Isn't that what they used to do for tooth pain? :confused3

Cut out beer for breakfast?!!! That's crazy talk! :cool2:
Where, oh where, has the tag fairy gone? Where, oh where, can she be?? She needs to get over here and give you this as a tag! lol

Sounds like you were feeling pretty gosh darn awful. Glad you are on the mend.

I used to think that as well, until I had a kidney stone! OMG! :scared1:

I don't think so. It says it is good through 9/18/2012. :confused3
