Our plans are pretty much the same every year. I have about 13 large storage totes in the garage full of Halloween items that I will be hauling out this weekend so we can start decorating the outside of our house. In addition to setting up the 5 fog machines, lights, music, etc. It's tiring, but fun. And the neighborhood kids really like it.
It's not that we do such a great display. More that our area is a bit snooty and uppity, and too good for Halloween, so we have the best stuff for our particular neighborhood, if that makes sense. It's fun to see the kids getting all scared, and the parents taking photos.
Ruben and Adam usually stay behind to tend to the trick-or-treaters, while I'll take the girls out to get candy.
