I went and saw Pooh movie yesterday. It was darling and actually pretty dang funny too. I got my 400 points:)

I just signed up for the lines app on touringplans.com It is the best available for blackberry users. So far I really like it, and am excited to check it out in the parks. I have never used any sort of line app, so it will be fun.

Good Luck with your procedures Patty. Hope you will be up and at em again in no time at all!

Joan, sad Pooh Story! You should be sure to have a DoOver on that Pooh picture!

Awesome bonus DMR points Tracey. I didn't get to see it (couldn't hold off on HP any longer) so no bonus points for me. Phooey.

I have never, and probably will never, use Twitter. :sad2: Good luck figuring it out.

I agree...I signed up and then never used it. All the updates I want to see are on fb so I ended up deleting my account.

Tracey~ Looking forward to meeting up with you guys next week. How old is your son?

Good afternoon, everyone!

I spent the whole morning going through the twin's closets, and now have another huge bag of give-away clothes. Man, they grow fast! I honestly feel like we just did this. :confused3

I hope everyone is having a good day so far. TTYL!! :)

I'll be rooting for Katy's pickles! :wizard: :cheer2: :wizard:

Me too, me too. Hugs to Katy. I've met Kelly's girls and they are cute, friendly, sweet and funny (and love Disney ;)). Kudos to her for entering. Like you said Kelly, who knows what the darn judges were looking for.:confused3

Joni, I loved your Pooh story!:rotfl:

Beth, kids go through growth spurts. I remember a few times Bree grew so fast that outfits barely had the tags cut off before they were too small. Shoes too!:sad2: Do the twins share clothes? They look so different in pictures, but I am sure they are really close. :)

Have a good evening everyone.

First, I can't believe the amount of Pooh bashing on this thread. I have an interesting Pooh story. It was my first trip (that I remember) to DL, I was 16 with a group of about 25 highschoolers on a church trip. All I could talk about was getting my picture with Pooh - much to the others dismay. I was in the middle of a super long line for Splash Mountain when I saw him. You would have thought I won the lottery or something. I was jumping up and down, clapping and and chanting "Winnie the Pooh, Winnie the Pooh!" My best friend was motified, a group of older ladies were dying with laughter over this teenager acting like a 3 yo and the two cute guys behind us in line where just shaking their heads. My friend convinced me not to plow the 200 or so people down behind us as I bolted for Pooh and assured me that we would go straight to Pooh after the ride. She started talking to the cute guys. By the time we got off the ride, the boys wanted my friend to go with them the rest of the day, I did not - hellloooo - I wanted to see Pooh. My friend dissed me, Pooh deserted me, I was alone with no friend and no picture of Pooh. :sad2::confused: The rest of day ended with me crying in the bathroom and walking aimlessly around DL by myself all day. Wow - what a sad story. Come to think of it - I don't like Pooh very much anymore. Contuine the Pooh bashing. :lmao:

.

Wow, your story had me laughing, not that you were left alone all day though of course.:)

Beth, I found a new game on the net today. It is called "BETH COME CLEAN MY CLOSETS." Doesn't that sound like fun? I am sure since you have done it a few times you would certainly win. :). Ya Ya I know wishful thinking on my part --I so need to get in and just do it. But not sure I want to toss out the new dress pants I bought years ago that when I purchased were less then one size to small. ( Now probably several sizes to small and I don't wear a junior size anyway. I need to get real THEY ARE NEVER GONNA FIT --EVER --NEVER--.

Talk at ya later.

I did finally get a Pooh DoOver. Plenty of Pooh and I pictures around the house now - that is a must every trip that I get a picture with Pooh, and the funny thing is, he is not really my favorite anymore.

It was very not funny at the time but luckly I find it quite amusing myself now.

You're giving up a paid trip to Hawaii??? :scared1:

Now that you put it that way, it does sound kind of crazy. Oh well, I would go see the Mouse over any other trip in the world. (It also helps that I will probably go to Hawaii in Oct with my hubby.)

Well dear girl, I would love to gift you with two extras that I have:) If you get your code, then pm it to me, I will write it on the stubs and take a picture and email it to you:thumbsup2

Awesome! He is 8 and 1/2. Loves Disney. This is a surprise trip for him, if I can keep my secret for 5 more days:rotfl:

Good morning everyone ! I hope life is treating everyone well :flower3:.

Between that, and buying groceries and household supplies I am ready to have a nervous breakdown. It's so expensive! :scared1:

I fell you Beth! We are currently doing some back to school shopping so I don't have to buy it all at once. I almost passed out when my son asked for some $150 shoes :faint:. Teenagers are really expensive :rolleyes1.

I am pretty exited about my trip to DL in 8 days :) The only bad thing is is that my hubby tried taking a vacation day for next Wednesday (our last day there) and it is already blacked out. If his boss will not approve his request I will be taking both boys by myself :sad1: At least the ride times are looking good! Well, for everything but Star Tours that is.... So, if any Diva's want to meet up Monday-Wednesday next week I am up for it :)

Sorry your hubby may not make it on the trip :sad1:. I'm actually off on Tuesday, because I have a 5 hour doctor appointment in the morning, but I may be able to meet up with you late afternoon if I can find someone to pick Devin up from football practice. I'll let you know in the next couple days.

We went and saw Pooh this weekend too. I love Pooh so it was really cute and funny to me too and it was the perfect length for Laila. I think it was only a little over an hour.

Thanks so much Tracey!

Hang in there Capri . The perfect job is waiting around the corner for you, but I know how depressing it can be. I was beginning to loose hope when I was out of work for over 1 year, but now I have one of the best jobs ever and it was worth the wait.

:wizard::wizard: Here's some pixie dust and prayers that you find the perfect place to work!

Here's a cheer-up, good luck hug for you and your job search.

Capri~I haven't had a chance to look at your resume yet, but I'm sending good job mojo your way. Marty subbed when we were first married, and he was always busy. In fact, one of the public schools created a position for him as on-site sub. When they didn't need him in a classroom, he did pull-outs and gave individual help to whatever kids needed it. So even if you don't have a full time job when the school year starts, try not to freak out about it. It will happen, lady!

Thanks Capri and ((hugs)) about your work. I know that must be SO frustrating and I know that you are going to make the BESTEST teacher ever. I know I would LOVE to have you as one of my kid's teacher if I lived where you were. I hope things look up for you soon and will be thinking good thoughts!!

Wow you guys, thank you all so much! :grouphug:

I have a feeling that once a debt plan passes, educational funding is going to be cut back even more drastically in every state. I may have to get creative and use my education to get a job outside of the public school system.

Oooooh, oooooh, I know.... maybe I could be one of those Disney YES teachers and give lessons right there in the parks. Ahhhhhhh, my dream job - haha! :thumbsup2

(That actually would be a really fun job.) :goodvibes

Oh perfect - our kiddos should get a long swimmingly then. Tahoe, my 8 year old likes to tell everyone that there are people in the costumes so warn me if your son still thinks they are who they say they are. I would hate to have him spoil that magic for someone else.

Sounds good :) I am so happy that I know so many of you ladies so that a trip to DL is more fun getting to see friends and not just swarms of strangers.

Oh that would be the best.job.ever!

Brydon and I are having a Disney movie week - watching all the movies that have rides at DL and DCA. Right now we are on Little Mermaid. There was a time growing up that I was watching it so often that I could recite it word-for-word, song-for-song. It was so bad my mom took the VHS tape away. Well, I had it so memorized that I would walk around the house reciting the whole movie from start to finish so she gave up and returned the movie. :rotfl:

Good morning, ladies!! :)

Going to be another hot one here today. 105. Ugh. Lots of places are having a heat wave right now. We've been doing lots of indoor activities. Thank goodness for Red Box and dollar movies! popcorn:: popcorn:: :happytv:
On our rental list for this week are Unknown, The Lincoln Lawyer, Wimpy Kid Rodrick Rules and Adjustment Bureau. I hope at least one of them is good!!
We recently rented Rango, Red Riding Hood, and Beverly Hills Chihuahua 2 and they were okay, but nothing great.

Have a great day, and if it's hot where you're at, stay cool!! :sunny:

They are very close, but they have different styles and are now very different sizes. Hannah is ever so slightly taller, and she's a walking stick. Seriously. She eats like crazy and doesn't gain an ounce. And all her features are so delicate, little bitty hands and such.
Lindsey on the other hand is my wolf cub. I say that because of her big hands, like wolf paws! She's got a thicker build to her, and a bit of a tummy. Nothing major, but she's always going to be "solid", if that makes sense. She'll never be fragile or dainty. kwim?

I wish they could still share clothes. It was much easier when they could!

Beth, I found a new game on the net today. It is called "BETH COME CLEAN MY CLOSETS." Doesn't that sound like fun?
Yes! I'll do it. I love organizing closets. Much rather do that then something like laundry or dishes. :thumbsup2

My daughter and her friend went to see Winnie-the-Pooh today. I am still not a fan. :rolleyes1 Tigger is cool though. :tigger:

Did I read that right?? A doctor's visit that lasts for 5 hours?? That's like my worst nightmare.

Just got home from work and dropping in :wave2: Hope everyone has a good day. Must go do some PTR work right now. Fun times. Can it be September yet?

I agree, a 5 hour doctor's appointment sounds scary. I hope everything is alright Katie. I'm worried about you.

And same to you Steph and Patty! Sending you lots of healthy vibes!
