Oh and I'm very excited to tell everyone, that by the end of the month, I will be a free and single lady .

My divorce will finally be finalized!!! For those of you who know my past with my husband, you know why I'm so happy .

Only 3 more sleeps until I surpise Nathan with our DL trip. Just ignore the trip report title in my signature because I wasn't able to keep that surpise! I think I can do it this time though!

I think I just need to go around and guilt everyone into following it, hows about that! Haha. It's all good either way. I was wondering if that was the shirt you were thinking of but wanted to be sure. Believe me, if I see a Snow White shirt I don't have much self-control and I buy it rght away. I didn't, however, get the Evil Queen shirt at the time and I'm wishing I had. Oh well. If they have it in my size I'll snag it on my next paycheck but that's highly unlikely. I just hate paying shipping on top of sales tax and I just bought my Starship shirt for the race yesterday. I'm trying to space out all of my purchases like crazy.

I am going to see what I can do about the hotel - I didn't speak to a manager, but I may just go that route. So many of the hotels are booked full next week I really hope it is not super crowded; luckily the local AP's are blocked out. For the first time ever I am trying to make an itinerary for the trip. I doubt we will stick to it, but it sure is fun to plan and think about what we will be doing in a few days.

I just saw that there is a new pasta and pizza place opening up on Paradise Pier. Does anyone want to try a meal there for our trip?

Me first!! That's a great idea. We should suggest it to Disney. Prince Eric, Prince Phillip, Gaston, Tarzon, Captain Jack, and on and on..... That's a line worth waiting in.

We have that down for our first meal on Thursday. We are meeting for lunch and since they are in the same general area, people can either go to get pizza and pasta or the Mediterranean food, and we can all meet up. OR if you are like me and can't decide, you can find someone to share with. Each of you order something from one place and split it.

Had a really fun time at the Oregon Zoo with my family, including my oldest son & his fiance plus a mini meet with Carol & Kelly, her 2 daughters & her mom (Rosemarie) & her dad (can't recall his name). The weather couldn't have been better. It was sunny & a cool temp around 70.......so the animals were out. I was a tad disappointed that the monkeys were scarse & not active (which is the first time that's happened when we were there) & the penguins weren't playing in the water.....but getting to see the other animals out was great. We even saw a couple cougars playing & pounching on each other!!!

I absolutely cannot keep up with you girls lately!

I am working crazy hard at work and it's summer, which is supposed to be our slow time. But, fingers crossed, there is a glimmer of hope that everything I have been working for is finally going to pay off. There may just be a promotion coming my way soon It won't actually change my workload, but at least it would be a recognition that the job I do is very different from the one I was hired into 5 years ago. My boss told me this morning that it's happening, but I'm not really celebrating until it's been announced and I've got new business cards, kwim?

So, in the spirit of celebration we are headed to Anaheim tomorrow night. Spending Friday at the parks with a focus on seeing the new Phineas & Ferb show and going to the new Up Wilderness Explorer's area (formerly Brother Bear Redwood Creek Challenge) and hopefully at least 2 more trips on Star Tours thanks to the fact that Ty has one of those "when you're tall enough" cards that we can redeem along with getting FPs early in the am.

Then on Saturday I'm hitting the AP sale at 6:30 am while the boys sleep in. Since we are blocked we are going to the Discovery Science Center during the day and to see Winnie the Pooh that night. On Sunday we'll have a half day in the parks before we head back to Vegas. Then, lucky me, I get to spend my entire birthday conducting phone interviews for a vacant position in our office, and my colleague that I am chairing the search for told me I need to bring my own cupcakes!

Maybe Dave will at least get a DQ ice cream cake that night
