So I was considering the Grayline, because we saw the bus near the Anabella in December and it's all pretty and Disneyland-ish, but the price on the SS is just too good.

On the other hand, the SS driver from Ontario airport scared me half to death, with his texting and talking and turning his head to talk and answering the phone... But SNA is closer than ONT. Is it highway driving, city driving, or a combo? Seemed to be all highway driving from ONT.

I am going to becoming out of LAX. It looks like mostly freeway driving. My DH did Super Shuttle once and he also said it was scary and very cramped. It was a van. He said that there was too many people for how many seatbelts were available. But that was a long time ago...maybe they have gotten better.

I think the rates for the DL Express are cheaper out of SNA.

I was a bit scattered in my post. I went out for a walk-jog aka "stroller walk" (kiddo in the jogging stroller all bundled up in fleece and such, and even a rain-shield) while I freeze my buns off trying to get in shape. We got to the library, the weather was fine, and came out to rain rain rain. I'm cold.

The grayline is still more than $10 each way, even though it is a bit less $$ coming from SNA than LAX. Man I'm cold. brr.

Well I do have some time to think about it. Maybe when I'm less cold!

Hi Ladies! Haven't dropped in for awhile. Still on the fence right now about this trip but I WANT to go. We are taking a 2 week family vacation to WDW in October and thinking the money SHOULD be spent towards that trip. Should doesn't mean would mind you.

Anyway, not doing anything interesting. Oh except I took up a sewing class and a cake decorating class. Joann's is keeping me busy! Just trying new things out for fun.

Hope everyone is doing well. I'll try to read back a few pages and catch up!

I am saving $150. flying into LAX then SNA. I was really surprised it was so much!

150.00 dollars adds up to alot of extra cool things at DL. BB, VIP tour, Jazz and so on.

And not to mention the money saved by going to HoJos!

I actually live in Tulare, about 20 miles east of Hanford. Hanford is the closest train depot.

Oh, I see. Do you go over to the coast often? Seems like going over to the coast was the thing to do for those in your area.

Well, not really, but that doesn't mean there can't be plans made. We didn't really plan much for then because it seemed like everyone who was able to come in on Thursday, was coming in later in the morning or even the evening.

But I am thinking of coming in on Wednesday night. Haven't mentioned this to my DH yet of course.....
But if it works out, maybe we could meet up and do something. Even if it's just a breakfast. We could meet at Mimi's.

I love Mimi's! There isn't one here...so I enjoy having a meal there when we visit California. There is one in the town near Brent's moms house in Elk Grove. And she always takes us to lunch when we visit.
