Do it!!! Why arent you flying again?
Oh you are a bad influence!! :rotfl:

See above post about the bus. And add to that the fact that flying alone makes me nervous despite the fact that it's probably safer then being on the road.

:lmao: Ohhhh... but think about how much fun it will be to be there at the same time as everyone else!

Yeah, I'm bussing it. When you leave out of Vegas you have to get there 2 hours early. Plus I'd have to allow about 40 minutes to get to the airport from my house in case of traffic.

Then the flight is an hour. (Direct to LAX) Then I'd have to wait for my bags and hope they aren't lost!! LOL And then shuttle to the hotel.

It's a pain and not all that fast when you tally up all the wait time.

With the bus, it picks me up at the Luxor and drops me off at a list of hotels in the Anaheim area. And it's about a 4.5 hour trip, with free snacks, drinks, rest room on board, etc.

So I'm thinking I'll just go that route. The only down side is, there is only one schedule to follow and it leaves here at 3:30 and gets in to Anaheim around 8. That's the sucky part.

I bet the cost is a lot cheaper than flying!

Michelle, before I add it to the front, I just want to make sure I have this right. You were interested in going to the Minnie and Friends breakfast on Sunday right?
Did you have a time in mind?

Let me know and I'll add you as the contact person for that and also put it on the schedule.

I might be interested in doing that since now I am not doing the Walk in Walt's Footsteps tour on Sunday. My DH and I are going to do that tour together since he's wanted to do it for awhile now.
So I might be free for breakfast. I'll send a PM if I'm in for sure though.

Boy, I'm open for a time.....I was thinking around 9:30-10am. That way, those who wanted to sleep in could, and those who wanted to be there for opening could go and get in a couple of rides and then have breakfast. Plus, then I'm likely to not eat lunch. But, I'm pretty open. If people are interested, PM me and we can talk about timing. I will make resies first opportunity, which is 2/27, if I calculated right!

Well, not a whole lot. It's $99 round trip on the bus and on Southwest (without a DING) it's $138.50 round trip.

But I'm hoping (fingers crossed) that it will be less stressful for me, and I'll save money on a shuttle since the bus will drop me off at a near by hotel and I can walk from there.

I checked and it is only $138. on southwest... :rolleyes1 just saying. KIDDING!
LOL I saw that.

Yeah, Beth...you know you want to.:cool2:
Your a bad influence too!!

Thanks for offering to do this!

Hehe...no way, I am innocent.

I know you do.

And for the record... I'm stoked too. ;)

Wow, you get in early on Thursday. Do you know I will not be there until after 8 p.m. on Thursday??!! That sucks.

Maybe I should just come in on Wednesday night and spend one night alone so I'll be there when everyone arrives!! :yay: :rotfl:

Yeah, I'm sure my DH would be thrilled to hear that idea. :scared1:

Beth, why don't you take the bus or whatever down to San Diego on Wednesday and then you can ride up with me on Thursday. You can stay at my house, no charge! Then I can take advantage of the car pool lane. You could still head back from Anaheim.

Heck, I'm still thinking of hoofing it to Las Vegas after work on Wednesday to kidnap you and drive you to Anaheim. You can't NOT be there for the fun stuff planned on Thursday. HOB and Uva just won't be the same without you!

I'll add it to the front schedule then so people are aware of it. :thumbsup2

:lmao: PEER PRESSURE!!!
:sad2: :sad2: :sad2: :sad2:

HA! Innocent my....well, never mind. But remember I've met you. :rolleyes1

Aw, that's sweet of you to offer. :goodvibes But if I can manage to work it out so I leave Wednesday, then I might as well just go straight to the hotel.

It would mainly depend on DH's schedule so I'll talk to him and see what he has to say. It might be nice to already be there when everyone arrives on Thursday.

Maybe since my roomie and several others are leaving on Sunday, I'll arrive a day early and head out a day early...... :scratchin

(yes, I'm ALWAYS this indecisive when it comes to my trip planning!! LOL)

OMG, it was so nice here today!! Come visit me! LOL I took the twins to the park after the teacher conference and it was so nice to sit there in the sun with short sleeves on. :goodvibes

Especially considering this time last year I was knee deep in snow and ice in Northern MI!! :scared:

January, what time do you think you'll actually arrive at the hotel on Thursday? And do you know how much the shuttle is, just out of curiousity?

Ah, man! I wish I could.

I am thinking around somewhere around 11:30am.
RT from LAX is $30 One way is $21

Ellen and I will most ilkely be flying into SNA (Orange County) Friday morning just before 9 am. I normally take a cab from there to the hotel, but in an effort to save money, I may look into the DL Express bus or a super shuttle. Does anyone have any experience with either of these and the costs?
