Doing good. The kids are still up. They are watching Deck the Halls. It's a cute movie so far. Makes me ready for Christmas!!

It was good. Glad to be visiting my bed soon.

Yeah, not that I've seen all that many, but I've seen a few. I had a friend who lived in Malibu and worked at this frozen yogurt shop that was off the beaten path. The kind of place you didn't know what there unless you knew it was there, kwim? So no tourists went there.

Anyways, she served so many celebs! Everyone from Richard Gere to Elizabeth Taylor. She always had to keep her cool though!! No freaking out and screaming or beggin for autographs. LOL

OMG! I'm just cracking up over this. This pic was from last fall, but we also wore our lime green boas last month for MouseAdventure, so you did see us! We placed 10th and are really thrilled with our finish. Of course try as we might, we never did get the count of main street light poles quite right.

Shelley, keep digging up the dirt, girl! Just so long as you actually come out to Disneyland .. instead of kicking your butt, I might just buy you a churro.

Yes, Im almost positive that I did. I think I was the only non-participant that knew what "all those people where doing with clipboards". (I heard that all over the park that day.) If I remeber right DSS mentioned the lime green boas.

Sorry I disappeared.
One of my twins just had a very bad nose bleed. She told me it was bleeding and I looked at it and it wasn't that bad. She went into the bathroom to wash her hands and then a short while later, she was screaming for me.

I ran into the bathroom, and there was blood everywhere. All over the floor, sink, counter and herself. It was gushing from her nose. Scared me half to death!!

I was trying to calm her down but she was crying and panicking. And I guess she was getting some in her mouth so she was gagging and almost throwing up.

I kept trying to get it to stop but it wouldn't and she was getting more and more scared and upset. And my other kids kept coming in and looking at all the blood and freaking out which scared her even more.

Finally I yelled at my older DD to bring me the phone and I called my DH at work. (he works nights) It took several rings but he finally answered and I basically just yelled that I needed him here now. I didn't know how or if I was going to get her nose to stop! It was soaking through the tissues as fast as I could get them up to her nose. I'd never seen such a bad bloody nose before.

We only have the one car right now and I just wasn't sure how I'd take her in somewhere if it didn't stop.

He doesn't work that far away and with no traffic this time of night, he made it pretty quick. Of course by that time the bleeding had slowed and she was some what calmer. He helped me clean up the floor, sink and counter and made sure she was ok, then headed back to work.

She's alright now, and is going to sleep here in my bed. I have no clue what caused it. She said she didn't bang it on anything and it doesn't hurt.
I've finally got everyone else settled and in bed. And now, I do believe I am ready to call it a night myself and go chill with a movie.

Good morning!

Also, wanted to add to my excitement that I will be in WDW in 1 week from today .

We will be moving around a lot during this trip since my kids wanted to try the Nick Hotel and I wanted to try out our new home resort at the Animal Kingdom Villas . Then we move to the Boardwalk villas since my family loves being close to Epcot .

If anyone wants me to send a postcard to them or their kids, just PM me with your address and favorite character and I'll try to get it autographed by the character.

Okay just another update on the dates.

April has 7 votes.
May has 8 votes.
And the "either date" option has 13.

So far May is pulling ahead. The poll closes Friday. I suppose I could have made it close sooner, but I know not everyone sees the DL boards or the DIS Meet boards all the time, and I wanted everyone to have a chance to vote. We are getting new people still and that's great!!

I am going either way---April just works BETTER for me.

I have obnoxious big-toe hair that has plagued me since I injured one of 'em as a preteen, and the bandages pulled the hair out. Ever since then I, um, shave my big toes whenever I notice.

And calling my feet hobbit feet started in college, when a friend, co-worker, and fellow rower drew everyone's attention to them, by yelling "omg you have hobbit feet!" Can't be too mad at him...years later, he ended up getting me the job that caused me to meet DH.


I have to go check if I voted.

Bumbershoot........still don't have everyone's name in my head....I have a very very high maintainance friend who gets her toes waxed. Ow,,and how much hair does she have to choose waxing? !?????

Hello everybody!
How is everyone's day going so far? I'm off work today so I'm cleaning the apartment and having a "couch day." A couch day is where I sit and watch movies, DIS, and eat alot of candy/snacks.
I told myself that I MUST get the cleaning done before couch day starts, but looky here...I'm already DISing!

I wanna a couch day!

Beth, I am sorry about your DD----my brother used to get nosebleeds really bad. The doc said it was the dry weather here in Boise that causes them.
