So how much does the Segway tour cost? Also does anyone know how much a 2 or 3 day park hopper ticket is? My mom and I are coming in on Friday night and leaving Sunday evening so I'm not sure that we will need a 3 day hopper. We will probably just go with the two day for Sat. and Sun.

I really debated staying at the hotel since I live 45 minutes away.. but then again.. it's 45 minutes away KWIM?

O.K. I'll wait until I get further instructions from you, our planning leader , until I make the ressie. Then I'll start looking for a roommate .

Well this planning leader was so busy today. I just hate when real live intrudes on the fun stuff.

I was kind of hoping to see more ladies saying they'd be up for staying there. Hmmm, there's still a few I haven't heard from. I'll check my list (I sound like Santa! Who's been naughty....??) and see who hasn't checked in, and send out PMs as soon as I can.

What fun! I can only dream of the day when my kids are old enough for Mommy to leave them for a few days! It sounds like you will all have a blast, I can't wait to read the TR!!! Maybe a few versions!

Beth- where about in Vegas are you? We just moved here (Aliante area) a few months ago. I grew up in Orlando so WDW was my home away from home but we are quicky becoming a Disneyland family. Got our AP's in August!

Anyway, maybe I can join in on the 2009 trip!

Hi there!! We just moved here too, back in July. Do you know where the Boca Park shopping area is, not far from Red Rock casino? We are only a few blocks from there. Not sure what you call this area!
How do you like it so far?

I'm glad you decided to stay at CCI . I only live 30 minutes from Disneyland (in Upland), but we always stay overnight a few times a year. It's like a little retreat from reality .

I'm also looking forward to getting to know everyone & having adult time . Going to Disneyland with a large groups of adults IS A BLAST .

It is tomorrow! LOL I posted last night that it had been a busy day. But today wasn't bad so I'm around off and on.



Even though we only have 13 rooms so far, I decided to give Nick a call and see if we could get this reservation process started. Unfortunately, all I got was his voicemail, so I left a message.

As soon as I hear back from him, I'll let you all know what's going on and what the next step will be.

Also I sent out some PMs to those I haven't heard from yet just to see if there was anyone else out there interested in staying with the group at CCI.

If you received one of those PMs and you've made other plans already or you are local, then you can just disregard it. Thanks.

Hey, something I've always wanted to do, but never was able was to get fantasmic special seating tickets. It seemed to extravagent for 5 of us (esp. when 2 of the 5 wouldn't appreciate it at all! ) But, seems like the perfect "splurge" for a Ladies Only trip.

I think that's a great idea !!

I've done it 3 times and the balcony seating was the best, but unfortuneatly it's not available anymore. The Riverside seating is good, but the desserts weren't as good.

I've heard they may have a new viewing area when the Riverbelle restuarant reopens in December. We'll have to wait and see.

But it's definately a cost saver since we'd only have to buy 1 ticket each!!

I've never done that before, but always thought it sounded like a nice splurge if one could afford it.

I might splurge on something this trip though, and Fantasmic special seating might be it. But on the other hand I really want to do that Segway tour at DCA. Of course I could be hungover in the mornings, so maybe an evening splurge on Fantasmic would be a better course of action.

We got so lucky when watching Fantasmic in October this year. We (me, DH, DS8 and DS4) got in line to ride Pirates during the first showing of Fantasmic. We rode the ride, walked out and made a potty break, walked toward the rivers of America, and voila......we walked right into the sit down area for Fantasmic about 3 rows back from the front. We sat down (DH went and got some snacks and drinks and came back), and about 15 minutes later, Fantasmic started. Our view was PERFECT!!! The kids really enjoyed it!
