Hi, girls!

I hope that you all have a great night and I hope to be chatting here after I get Maddie in bed later.:thumbsup2

Hi January! Don't worry about it. We all get busy, and with the holidays, it's probably going to get worse before it gets better.

I am debating about going to Target because I am bored. But if I go, being bored will most likely end up costing me too much money.... :rolleyes1 :rotfl:

I did go to Target today and oh yeah I spent too much money:rotfl: :rotfl:
But the good news is that my kids' Christmas shopping is done. Now all I have to do is get to our surprise trip.

Hi Steph, well, at least your shopping is done. :thumbsup2 I never made it out today, but I have some shopping to do tomorrow so it's just as well. LOL

I know what you mean! I was bored on Saturday and ended up going to Limited Too, Hollister, Bath & Body Works, Barnes & Nobel, Circuit City, KB Toys, New York & Co., Disney Store, Old Navy, Target & the 99 Cent store (gotta save money somewhere  ).

I spent way too much money, but it was a lot of fun since it was only my daughter & me. I did get most of my Christmas shopping done & even bought myself a few things :thumbsup2 .

We were going to go to Disneyland, but my son didn't tell me he promised his grandpa he'd help clean the fish pond. So while my son went to make some money, DD & I shopped all day.

Well I hope everyone is doing well & I'll talk to you all later

;) ,
Katie

Good Monday Morning ladies!! :) I hope everyone's day is off to a good start so far.

Katie, sounds like you really went on quite the shopping spree! That's nice though when you can spend time one on one with the kids. I bet your DD had a nice time, and bonus that most of your Christmas shopping is done. :thumbsup2

I'm going to try to reach Nick at the CCI again today. I never got a call back. :confused3 We'll see what happens. Talk to you all later!!

I know this is late to even mention, but felt I should....
Got an email from Mousesavers and it made me think of the link from their website for HoJo's......
Well, I went on their site, linked to the HoJo's and clicked on the link for AP holders (I'm getting one for Xmas! :cool1: ) for Thurs 4/24-Mon 4/28, and the price that I got back was 87.20 for each and every night for King and 103.20 for 2 Queens.

It's actually $87.20/night for both King & 2 Queens for a standard/highway view. If you want the Disneyland view, it's $103.20/night.

That's a great rate and since most of us haven't booked our rooms yet, maybe the majority will want to switch, assuming everyone has an AP.

I would actually prefer to stay at CCI, but I'll go wherever the group goes :thumbsup2 .

Oh boy!! Well, that adds another decision to the mix. :rotfl2:

I have an AP so I could book that other rate if I wanted.

But I'm looking forward to staying at the CCI. I'm sure HoJo is a great family place but I think the CCI looks nicer and I like the amenities it offers with the breakfast and the shuttle.

So, I think for me, I'm going to stay put at CCI.

I guess what I need to know now is if anyone else is thinking of switching. Because if they are, then that will effect our room total and we might not get the group rate. We don't quite make the requirement as it is.

We have 13 and it's supposed to be 15. He said he'd work with us, but if we lose more to the HoJo, I'm afraid that will drop us too much.

Maybe those who want to book CCI should do so with another discount like AAA so our reservations don't hinge on anyone else. :confused3 :confused3

I don't know. What do you all think?

I don't mind doing the group thing, IF it still seems that there is still enough interest. I guess now what I need is some input ladies...... :rolleyes1

Beth, I'm one of the most loyal HoJo fans out there. But honestly, I don't want to stay in a King or Q/Q room facing the freeway for that rate, especially when I just stayed in the Queen Suite there for $99 per night. What a let down that would be.

I'm VERY excited to try the CCI for this trip and am thrilled with the group rate you managed to get for us.

So I'm staying put with ya! :thumbsup2

Hey!! I have another room you can add to that. Melody is bringing her sister, so they will be sharing a room at the CCI!

We leave tomorrow morning!!! Its my birthday weekend. I am turning 22 :lmao: I could not even say that with a straight face.

Hey, what do you know? I just turned 22 a few weeks ago! :rotfl:

DD is in bed, and I've finished working for the evening, just in time to go to bed so that I can get up and do it all over again.

Oh, good news!! :yay:

Okay, I think we'll just stick with the plan of staying at the CCI. I've heard great things about it and it seems as though we've all been sort of looking for an excuse to give it a try, so might as well.

I have an out of town guest right now, so I haven't been able to find time to make that phone call to Nick. Well, I made one but he never returned it, so I need to make another.

I have another full day tomorrow, BUT I'll be home around 3, so I will call again then, and maybe even send an email as well so we can get things started. :thumbsup2

Thanks for that info about the HoJo Michelle. But I think, so far anyways, that we'll stick with CCI. We can all try it together so we'll know for future trips if we want to give it a go. It's like homework or research. :rolleyes1 ;)

Not a problem. I've never stayed at either, so I'm pretty open. Just thought I would throw that out there, as I know there are a few who are having budget issues. I think CCI is an easier walk to DLR anyways. HoJo's always seems so very far! And I definitely want to be where the party is!

Good Morning All!

Geez it sounds like most of you have your Christmas shopping done! I only got the boys a Wii and a wireless G.H. guitar so far. I'd better get on it! My washer broke on Saturday (after I stripped all the beds of course) so we had to throw down some cashola and that made a dent in the old Christmas fund. But with four kids I couldn't wait to buy one!

I don't have an AP so staying at the CCI still makes the most sense for me.

Hope everyone has a great Tuesday!

Not to stir the pot at all, but Nick (at the CCI) doesn't seem very, ummmm what's the word.......attentive.

I guess with ONLY 14 rooms (give or take) we're small potatoes.....but still, with Nick not calling back, it makes me feel like we don't matter too much. You know what I mean?:confused3

I was all excited to finally get to try the CCI, but now it feels a little like the CCI in puting their noses in the air towards us.:snooty:

Maybe I'm just sensitive.:rolleyes1

Good morning! DD is still a bit sick, so it looks like I am working from home today.

I am so jealous that you got a Wii, Cindy! We really want one. I will wait until after the holidays, though.

Hi ladies. Yeah, I don't like leaving a message and not getting a call back.

I mean, he was really, really nice and seemed willing to help when I did talk to him. But getting him on the phone seems to be a tad difficult to say the least.

I called again today as soon as I got home which was just a short while ago. This time I didn't ask for Nick, just for anyone who could help with group reservations. And....I was transfered to his voice mail. LOL
I guess he's the only one to work with on that so I left another message. We'll see what happens.

I think the CCI is a nice place. I've heard wonderful things about it. I'm sure that not all their customer service is this slow, or we'd have heard about it in Trip Reports and on Tripadvisor.

Hopefully he'll call back soon because I'm a nice person but I do have my limits.

Anyways, the moment I hear anything you all will be the first to know! :thumbsup2

Hi Cindy! Sorry about the washer. I hate it when stuff like that breaks. Especially this time of year.

You are lucky you got a Wii! I know some people who have had no luck finding them.

Hi Stephanie. Sorry your DD is sick. Hope she gets all better fast! :wizard:

Thanks. It doesn't hurt to check everything out. Now if you find an awesomely cheap deal for the GCH, be sure to let us all know!! :rotfl2:
