Girls Trip #1 (check in daily for any plans being finalized or changes/updates)

Not yet, but they won't be surprised. I've met several people from the DIS over the years at WDW.

Everyone I've met so far has been fairly normal .

So far....

I am so ready to start planning!!! I have already been soliciting for roommates, and looking up prices online... and calling around to check on some hotels. But... Im not eager to get away from the kids or anything.

LOL Nah, I didn't think you were.

I've got a roomie already. January (Daisy_77) and I are going to room together, unless she comes to her senses and changes her mind. LOL But it's never to early to start thinking about a roommate if that's the way you want to go.

The best way is to find someone you seem to "click" with or maybe have something in common with. If you live in the same area, have kids the same age, are in the same profession, whatever. Or if it's someone you already know from around the DIS that works too.

And rooming with someone is just an easy way to cut costs. You don't really spend all that much time in your room, and when you do you're usually asleep so it's not a big deal.

Yep, first tag ever. I was enjoying my no-tag status, but ya know, I guess I should have known better than to admit to the hairy tootsies in a widely read thread.

I wish!! My sis called to complain to me for while... My mom called to complain to me for an HOUR, and wants ME to do research for HER trip to Epcot next week... and my baby WONT GO TO BED!!!!

Ummm, nah. I've got lots of perfume. We can spritz ourselves a few times and call it good.

When I had to leave for Reno last year when my dad died, I had dh pack me a bag, because I was making a bunch of phone calls... WELL... I get to Reno, and look in my bag... only to find that there was a bunch of the babys clothes inside! My sis and I were going throught it, and we were both cracking up!! all there little tiny clothes, and a couple of tank tops... and other summer clothes.. NO undies, or socks...

I did something similar to DH on our trip in Oct. I packed only shorts and 1 pair of jeans (he really needed jeans everyday.) No pjs, no deoderant. Opps.

I am the packer in this family. So lucky me gets to pack for 5 people and myself. It's probably best that way though, or I'd end up like you were! LOL
