1. Yes, I make chili because we can’t eat it when it’s hot outside
2. I don’t turn on the heat, but I do turn off the AC. Fans always on.
3. My blizzard was in 1978, but we don’t talk about it.
4. I do it in reverse . . . Warm shoes and trousers, and a short sleeve t-shirt without a jacket.

Either I am a bad Southerner, or I haven’t broken all my childhood Midwestern habits
