we were stuck for a very long time on small world ....cruelest form of torture known to man
and while this wasn't a breakdown, we were the first ones in spaceship earth one morning and got to the top universe scene except the "universe" is really a big bright storage room with a bunch of ladders and junk sitting around. someone forgot to turn the lights off ..funniest thing was the reaction of the cm when we got off the ride and told her, really thought she was going to faint right then and there.

This was great - we felt like we had to tip her at the end for such a good show, but instead we just told her manager how great she was and made sure that she got recognized for it!!!!
2) My daughters LOVE Haunted Mansion, so we rode on it over and over again during E-Nite. Well, of course, it was practically empty. So, they wanted to each ride in their own Doombuggy. Hey guys, it's spooky to ride by yourself in a ride that is dark and empty!! Well, it stopped for about 5 minutes and I'm sitting there (yes, I'm an adult, but a very immature one) and start thinking of creepy people sneaking in and stuff.
Silly, I know..... 3) This one wasn't a breakdown, but freaky anyway. We were riding ToT and there was this group of teenage (ages 14-15) girls in our elevator. They start screaming their heads off from the very beginning. But, one or two of them kept lifting her feet off the ground while screaming. They stopped our car at least three times telling them to stop or they would make them get off. Right at the dropping point they turned on the lights in our car and told them to stop. Each time, it would take them at least 30 seconds to get it going back again. I was so freaked out by the end because we didn't even know if we were going or if they were stopping it or what!!

On Chrsitmas Day 2001 DH, DS, and DD were riding Splash -- too cold for younger DS and I to get wet -- and the ride broke down. They were gone for what seemed forever, but it was the first time I'd seen the water turned off on the big drop. Turns out they were stopped just before the climb to the big drop and the ride was evacuated from the beginning of the ride first. They did get FP to any attraction for the whole family. So in October, 2002 where do we break down on Splash? Yep at exactly the same place, this time with the DS who didn't ride in 2001. We'd been on the KTTK tour before and so we knew a little about the parade vehicles you can see when you're evacuating.
