Recent experiences rope dropping Adventureland?

We are staying off-site for a convention in June and will have only one day to do MK (most likely Thursday 6/11, but could also do Wed or Fri). Family of four with kids 9 and 6. We haven't been since 2019 - I used to be a pro at all the tricks and systems but it seems SO different now!

I'm thinking we should rope drop Adventureland (probably Jungle Cruise?), but I'm not finding a lot of info about off-site guest rope dropping any more. Does this strategy make sense since Fantasyland will be open for Early Entry or would you do something else? (We MAY do LLMP depending on how availability looks at the 3 day out mark, but not interested enough in Tron or SDMT to purchase LLSP or wait in ridiculous lines later - if we get lucky on reasonable lines later, great but if not, also great.)

A few specific questions:
- Are there typically big crowds of folks rope dropping Adventureland these days?
- On a 9AM entry day (currently posted hours), what time do people get serious about lining up at the entrance to Adventureland?
- How intense is it? (Not worth it to us to be in a stampede to start the day.)
- Does Jungle Cruise make the most sense as the ride to head for? (By then BTMR will be open and I assume many will head there - we're not super interested.)

Thanks!

If you are not interested in big thunder then jungle cruise is an excellent choice. Even if you were interested in big thunder, jungle cruise is still a good choice.

I think you have a good plan in place. Guests will begin entering the park approx. 45 mins before official Early Theme Park Entry begins. Offsite guests can also enter at this time and proceed into the hub.

There will be a lot of people gathered at the entrance to Adventureland to enter the park as official park opening but cast members tend to keep this orderly. Heading to JC sounds like a great choice as it's line will build and stay high for much of the day.

Thank you! So if we planned to arrive at the TTC parking at 7:45am (for 9:00AM regular park opening) would that allow us time to take the ferry/monorail to the park entrance, get through security, maybe take a photo on Main Street and get over to the Adventureland line at a reasonably non-stressed pace?

Yes you should be okay to do that but you would be behind many people waiting to enter Adventureland at park opening. As long as you're not trying to be towards the front of the crowd 7:45 will be fine but you will be entering both the park and main street with a lot of other people.

Thank you! Would the experience be significantly different if we moved our arrival up to 7:30? 7:15? Just trying to figure out that sweet spot of making the most of the morning without rushing only to stand around for virtually the same experience…
