we have 8, yes I said 8 bags of Sam's club sized fun size candy bars and non chocolate candy. Torture!!! All 8 are still sealed and not opened. My husband and I torture each other by holding up the other's favorite and dangling in front of that person saying "smell the chocolate, think about the carmel or peanut butter. Think how good it would taste after a long day of work"
All bets are off when the light goes out on Saturday and I'm sure y'all will be reading about us being sick from all the chocolate on Sunday![]()
...But that candy's mine Saturday night!! LOL
ETA: Oh! And just a reminder! We get a whole extra hour of self-indulgent goodness Saturday night! (daylight savings time ends!)
...OMG!! You'll have 'left-over' candy after all the trick-or-treaters have gone??!??!?![]()

I heard from a friend at work, who said that she was talking with her friend that works with a mother of a guy that wants to be a doctor. That guy told his mother that a nurse that used to work for a medical clinic in switzerland had told him that a doctor she worked with had know another doctor that read about the conducted studies of research that had been done by a team of medical professionals that were paid by another medical group to help them research a portion of their overall focus of causes of chemical reactions that relate to the ingestion of chocolate in small doses via individually wrapped candy bars. It seems that that research was commissioned by a panel of doctors from Canada that wanted to verify the primary research done by doctors in America that said indications that there was no overall ill effects from eating small doses of the candy bars. It seem that the doctors that conducted the research were of the opinion that the ill effects came from the social stigmatizing by outside influences from communist countries in the 60's that were trying to lower the self esteem of americans.
THEREFORE
It is considered patrotic to eat masive amounts of small candy bars, as there are no side effects.
