That is a great immage. There is so much I like about that movie. It really tells the story well. Also I love the whole Merlin/Morgana thing. That was a great sub plot.

If there's a way to watch the DVD on the ship, I can bring our copy of Excalibur. It would be good for a sea day. I love John Boorman movies - Deliverance, The Emerald Forest, Hope & Glory, etc, etc, etc!

Thats not Charley Boormans dad is it??

Yes, it was, He was great in the long way round and down, seems his daughter was in Excaliber as well. You learn something every day!

Ok, Missy...answering your own posted question??? I think it's time to check your medications:rotfl2:

Hats off to the entire Boormans family, talented through & through:worship:

LOL< sorry I am at work:confused3 vet is watching cr*p on tv, so I am dissing as even my little 4 legged patients are fed up with me fussing over them!

Our former vet (we moved, so had to find one closer to us) would play Lady & the Tramp and The Arisocats dvds - of course our pups would go nuts with cat noises:rotfl2:and look under all the chairs for them!

We have 2 Border Collie girls that are litter mates, they go everywhere together:hug: -- we wish they could come with us on the cruise, going to need to find a house/pet-sitter for the 3 week duration as that is too long for them to be a the pet hotel. Ah, another item for my cruise checklist:idea:

Well of course not! How could you be fans of something you had never partaken of?

I'm trying to teach my children the bones of story telling, and taught them that Harry Potter, Star Wars, Pirates of the Caribbean, Lord of the Rings are all the same story. You can tell it with elves or droids, or pirates. The story is a "big man" comes in and wants to be called Lord of all and a remnant of the people fight them off for their freedom.

My then 5yo took in the information, wandered off and came back with, "Mommy the movie Robots is that story too!"

He gets it yeah!! :cool1:

The fun is in the details, and JK Rowling is very good at details.

Katherine

She is very good at details. And what an imagination she has! Yes, another Harry Potter fan here too. I thought I would never like the HP series, they just aren't the type of books I usually read. But when I finally sat down and read them, I was hooked!

It is the ONLY bad thing about long hols is leaving the 4 legged babes.
Border collies are just way way too clever for there own good(please post a pic) our old collie was priceless, so thoughtful and clever but way too over sensitive.
My cat woke me up with another Florida lizzard hanging from her mouth! Lovely!
Dont ya just love cats?? my burmese was an avid hunter, if it could fit through the cat flap it was considered fair game(even if it had to dragged in backwards!)

I just got the dvd thing, do you mean in the waiting room?:laughing:
We play stupid pointless advertising that everybody ignores, that would be a much better idea, at least have the clients in a better mood rather than try to flog them something while they are fed up having to wait .

I hate going on vacation and leaving my dogs at home. We leave my brother or my husbands son at home to take care of them but they never let them out as much as we do. Our border collie is a different kind of guy he will just lay around the house all day until you pick up the flying squirrel then he goes nuts. I will try to post a pick of my pack when I find one. Have you guys ever heard of an Australian Kelpie?

I hate leaving our furbabies too! Both of ours were adopted from the Humane Society - Cinder Ellie is my baby and my shadow. She is a black and tan dachshund and just absolutely precious. She is so gentle and calm and I just love her so much. We've had her now going on 2 years and she is the best dog I have ever had. She's in my lap now and sleeps next to me in bed. Sandy is our daughter's dog and is some sort of shepard mix we think. She is a great dog too!

Anyway, my dad lives with us so he takes care of them when we are gone. We have a dog door so they can go in/out as they please and he keeps their food and water full. I just feel bad to leave them. If I could get Cinder in my suitcase, she'd be going with me. :goodvibes

Where is your DD a pony clubber. Would love to meet her!

She belongs to the Saskatoon Pony Club in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. She is D2. It's a long drive for us to pony club so she's thinking about giving it up. She has loved horses since before she could talk. Her brother, of course, has been deathly allergic to them - but he appears to be outgrowing that and had his first horseback ride (well doped up on Aerius) in Costa Rica. I was nearby with the rescue inhaler at hand and my radar trained on the nearest medical clinic.

These kids are going to kill me.

I remember what I wanted to add from yesterday;

Charming cottage in Scotland and nice horses too! Pretty lucky!!!

I will do the Castaway Cay 3k or 5k or whatever it is. Providing my achilles is still in tact!

OK, so the last time we were at Blizzard Beach. There was a girl in the line for the chairlift and she was catching these little lizzard/gecko things and opening their mouth and hanging them from her ears like earings...it was quite funny! Are these the kind of lizards your cat gets?

LOL...that was probably my niece! She used to do that all the time.

We have 2 mini Dachshunds too. Our youngest is disabled so I really hate to leave them. He had back surgery in 2006. He still can not use his back legs but he is not in any pain and can get around just fine. Luckily we have a great pet sitter that comes to the house 3 times a day to check on them, play and take them out. Our oldest will be 15yo in June but still has a lot of spunk left in her.

ok, not sure I would have thought that was funny, but I suppose I could not have helped but laugh.

Yip, we have Australian kelpis here.

Are your kelpis nuerotic, very needy and maybe a little crazy. Mine is. We have had her for almost 10 years and just found out what she is about 7 months ago. When we found out we looked up pictures and descriptions and she is pretty close. We always thought she was just a mutt.

Missed the Kelpie part the first time I read this. Someone told us that our mix may have Kelpie in her because of her looks. We were told by the humane society that she was shepard mix. Of course we'll never know but we love her just the same. I'd love to see a pic of yours to see how much it looks like our Sandy.

Here is Sandy:

Wow lots of talks about peoples dogs. Personaly I don't like them. I think I was bitten by one at a very young age and that is what made me dislike them. I do like cats. Well just about done with packing. Does not look like my wish of warm weather will happen. Still a cold day at WDW is better than a day at work. I think the thing that really sucks is, I work till midnight and my flight leaves tomorrow at 6:45 in the morning.
