Sigh.. Ashore 9:30 probably means they want everyone off ths ship by 9:30. A 9:30 arrival actually sounded pretty nice - because we'd be able to sleep in. :rolleyes1

Not that this means anything but I was told that I would be getting off of the ship at 9:30 and back on at 10:30..so I am assuming the 9:30 time is the approximate timethey want us off.

Okay, a totally random question...for those of you who have traveled way more than I, I was wondering if you know whether or not the 3-day Rainforest package is a common occurrence and if so, how much is it? I went through all of my Spa stuff from my Oct. cruise and I could not find the info anywhere, but I could swear there was something like that.
Just so that you don't think I am totally crazy for asking this question so early...I ask because I plan on paying for as much as I can before we leave and you can buy one day passes ahead of time so...???

The river is in D-land right in front of New Orleans square. The other attractions would be the boats, canoes and Tom Sawyers Island. I don't know about the Matterhorn because I never pay attention. If the line is short I go, otherwise I ignore it.
Thanks, that's what I thought it was but I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something since I'm not nearly as familiar with DLR as I am with WDW....I really hope the Matterhorn is open, that is my fav ride at DLR that isnt in Magic Kingdom!

I was hoping for a little sleep in time too...why do they have to have us up so early on our last day.:confused3 :rotfl:

No answer needed, I know why, I'm just not a early morning person when on vacation.

I know we got it on our 7 day and looked into it for our 2008 PC but can not remember the prices...I seemed to think the 15 day was $150? But don't hold me to it.

AMEN!! i'd rather leave 2 hours or even 3 later (even if it's getting dark) and get the extra sleep!! sigh!

Good morning, everyone!

I'm thrilled to report - I finally have a room mate!

Her name is Iola, and she's my cousin, whom I've never met in person because she hails from the west coast. I hope she's going to come on here and post, but she's never done message boards before, so it may be a while.

Good job! Hope all is going well - or as well as can be expected with Bruce's mom.

Enjoy your weekend everyone - stay safe and have a great time, whatever you are doing.

Congratulations! I was trying to talk my friend who recently lost her husband into it, but she had a big schedule conflict.

This is random but has anyone else noticed that depending which site you use for your vacation countdown ticker, the days are different? I use MickeyPath, and mine says 7 months and 7 days (aka 7 months and 1 week), but I see some of you who have used MyVacationCountdown have "7 months, 1 week and 1 day"...so me being the obsessive person that I am, I created a test one today on both sites (lol just in case I put the wrong date in the first time), but I got two different things still. Anyone know why they are different even though I put the same date?

Perhaps some people have put date in they are arriving on their vacation - the day before the cruise in some cases? I know I do that. Edit, I'm daft!!!!! That doesn't work!!!!!!!

I am happy for you Linda, although we will miss Bruce. I hope all is going well, we are going down the same path with Garys mom.

We are so eager for this cruise and yet it is still so far away. I was thinking that we were just a little over halfway there from the time many of us booked back in September so I decided to do the math. We booked on Sept. 21, which was 472 days prior to the cruise. As of today we are at 222 days remaining, which is actually my lucky number. That just made my day. Yes I am easily amused. So we are actually over half way there. How exciting!!! Looking forward to seeing you all in 222 days or less based on when you read this.:yay:

I share in your happiness. To me I am looking at it as six months to go.

Linda- glad to hear you have a roomie (hope this one sticks!)

This is the first summer I'm wishing we were back in school before we're even out! (LOL one more day).

I wish there were more planning to do but for now it's all done and the money is collecting intrest in the bank- how am I gonna pass the long summer????

There would be nothing wrong with us planning the FE, Secret Mickey, etc. Any lists made can be readily adjusted should someone need to be dropped or added.

I just suggest that we wait and ask Jeff (TIGFANJEFF) until AFTER the 90 day period to post the lists on our cruise website. That way, he's not having to do much adjusting.

I will ask Carol (pahrumpgirl) if she's ready to post the list for the dry wipe group.

Why can't we start planning? That's half the fun!
