I have been thinking the same thing! To frogg Toggs or not? That is the question.....:scratchin.

Just got our frogg togg bandanas. We will use them next week. I tried them hereat home and they work well.

i ordered mine last week. And we are going to a local water park tomorrow and going to test them out in the heat... will let ya know what I think

We're visiting in July and I have been considering them

I used them for myself and DD in May and I couldn't beeline the difference it made in the heat. I am going again in July and getting them for everyone! Definitely a must.

If you cut them in half lengthwise two people can use for the price of one :thumbsup2 I do not go outside May through Nov without it on

We had some for an August trip one year and never used them.

I did a late August/early Sept trip over to Universal one year and read about the Frogg Toggs here on the DIS. I picked one up, but never used it. I hate carrying anything in the park, so should have known I wouldn't use it. When I came back, I put it in the top of a closet, where it sat for about a year, before I finally threw it away. Never did use the thing.

I got some for us last year for a trip in July. I couldn't believe what a difference they made! Took them again for Labor Day weekend last year, and they'll be with us again this Labor Day weekend.

What is a Frogg Togg? It looks like a giant camo poncho or jacket from the website.

I wouldn't think you would need that. Am I missing something? It looks bulky.

Yes!! We used them last week while we were there. They were great. We only bought them for the three kids...big mistake. I was stealing it every time one of the kids put it down:goodvibes I didn't think of cutting it. Good idea! Needed that last week! Worth the money IMO

I don't understand the concerns about "carrying" them. You wet them and drape them on your neck. It's like "carrying" a hat or sunglasses. If you cut them in half the weight is (even more) negligible.

Add Chilly Pads to your search. They are towels that keep you cool through evaporation of water. They are very absorbent and don't drip when wet. They cost $10-15 and can be found on Amazon and at sporting goods stores. We used them a few weeks ago and would not want to spend a day in the heat without them.

I had never heard of these before, so I hopped over to Swagbucks to do a search.

They look pretty nifty.

We bought ours at soccer/softball tournaments. My daughter loves it in the softball dugout when she's not pitching.

I've seen them at sporting goods stores and last week I saw them at my local Bed, Bath and Beyond in the summer/seasonal section near the front of the store.

Cutting them is a great idea!

I LOVE these things. I started using them when I would workout or go for runs and in the North Carolina Summers it was well worth the $10. I also cut some up and use them when the kids are sick with fevers. They are so worth it!

How is the bandana size? I'm thinking about ordering some for our trip in August - my one son always gets really hot in the heat... But I am not sure about the regular-sized ones, it seems nicer to have a bandana he could wear - do they fit well? Can you also use it draped over your shoulders easily? Thanks!

I have a bandana and 2 of the 'towels'. The bandana is a good size. I've tried it with my 4 year old a couple of ways, tied on his head and put on his shoulders. He likes it on his head better than anything. He says he's a pirate when it's like that! LOL I will personally never do Disney in the heat without them. They're awesome!
